    Abstract: A table saw includes a movable rip fence and a base including an upper cutting surface through which a blade extends. The rip fence includes front and rear clamping mechanisms connected to front and rear ends of a casing respectively. The front clamping mechanism includes a frame, a lever pivotably secured to the frame to be pivotal between a locked position and a released position, the lever having an internal cam member, a clamping member pivotably secured to the lever, the clamping member having a hook at an open end, a spring biased shaft, and a C-clip for retaining an inner end of the shaft in the frame. A pivotal movement of both the lever and the clamping member causes the cam member to push the shaft inward until the shaft is pushed outward to urge against the cam member in the locked position.

    Abstract: A leg lifting mechanism for a table saw including a circular saw blade extending upward from an upper cutting surface, and a base mounted under a stand, the base having first and second leg assemblies, a first wheel assembly pivotably secured to the first leg assembly, and at least two second wheel assemblies secured to the second leg assembly is provided with a foot pedal including two side flanks pivotably secured to the first leg assembly, each of the side flanks having a straight edge and a cam edge. Clockwise rotation of the foot pedal about the first wheel assembly inward moves the cam edges on top of the first wheel assembly until portions of the straight edges grappingly engage the top of the first wheel assembly and portions of the first and second leg assemblies are lifted above the supporting surface.

    Abstract: A sawdust collection system includes a sawdust duct secured in a saw blade housing and having an enlarged portion formed on a front end thereof. A sawdust chute is partially pivotally received in a lower portion of the enlarged portion of the sawdust duct such that the sawdust chute can be swung relative to the sawdust duct. A first stopper laterally outwardly extends from a bottom of the sawdust chute and a torsion spring is mounted between the sawdust duct and the sawdust chute to prevent the sawdust chute from a vibration during operating. A second stopper laterally outwardly extends from a top of the sawdust chute. The second stopper selectively abuts a distal edge of the enlarged portion for limiting the moving range of the sawdust duct.
