  • Patent number: 6820527
Abstract: A table saw includes a suspension rod having a bottom face formed with a flattened face, and a motor gear box rotatably mounted on the suspension rod and having a top face formed with a recess. When the motor gear box touches the suspension rod, the flattened face of the suspension rod is received in the recess of the motor gear box, thereby reducing the vertical distance between the rotation shaft of the circular blade and the work table, so that the height of the circular blade protruding outward from the work table is increased, thereby increasing the cutting height of the circular blade, so that the circular blade may be used to cut a workpiece having a larger thickness, thereby increasing the cutting efficiency of the table saw.

  • Publication number: 20040154446
Abstract: A string saw includes a housing, and an air box. The housing includes a first casing and a second casing combined with each other. The air box is mounted in the housing and has an inside formed with a receiving chamber communicating with the storage space of the first casing, so that the cut chips during the sawing process can be introduced from the storage space of the first casing into the receiving chamber of the air box. Thus, the string saw can provide the dust collection and chip drainage function.

  • Publication number: 20040045423
Abstract: A transmission structure of a string saw includes an upper suspension arm, a lower suspension arm, a drive lever, a first counterweight, a second counterweight. The first counterweight and the second counterweight are arranged on two sides of the bottom of the drive lever in a symmetric manner. Thus, the drive lever, the lower suspension arm, the upper suspension arm, and the saw blade may be moved upward and downward in a rigid and stable manner by balance of the first counterweight and the second counterweight, so that the saw blade at the high speed may be used to saw the workpiece in a rigid and stable manner, without incurring vibration and noise during the sawing process, thereby enhancing the sawing efficiency and quality.

  • Publication number: 20030213349
Abstract: A table saw includes a workpiece positioning and push cutting device mounted on the working table of the base, and including a seat board, a slide board, and a push seat. The seat board is selectively secured on one of the two sides of the working table of the base. The slide board is slidably mounted on the seat board. The push seat is pivotally mounted on the slide board, and may be used to adjust the inclined angle of the workpiece to be cut. Thus, the table saw is available for both of the right-handed user and the left-handed user. In addition, the inclined angle of the push seat may be adjusted exactly, so that the workpiece may have an exact inclined angle relative to the saw blade, thereby enhancing the cutting precision of the table saw.

  • Publication number: 20030213350
Abstract: A circular saw having a workpiece clamping device includes a base secured with a fixing seat, and an adjusting threaded rod. The fixing seat is formed with a hollow receiving chamber. A press block is movably mounted in the receiving chamber, and is formed with an oblong hole which has a bottom formed with a semi-circular thread. The adjusting threaded rod is extended through the fixing seat and the oblong hole of the press block. The adjusting threaded rod normally meshes with the thread of the oblong hole of the press block. Thus, the adjusting threaded rod may be moved freely and quickly to move to a determined position, and may also be micro-adjusted at a slower speed.

  • Publication number: 20030121160
Abstract: The present invention relates to a laser alignment device of a circular saw, including a rotary disk base, a protective cover, and a magnetic ring base. The rotary disk base is mounted on a drive shaft of a circular saw. The rotation shaft of the motor may rotate the drive shaft to rotate the rotary disk base, so that the rotary disk base may be rotated at a high speed, and the silicon steel plates and the armature coil of the rotary disk base may be rotated at a high speed. Thus, an induced current may be produced between the silicon steel plates and the armature coil of the rotary disk base and the stator member of the magnetic ring of the magnetic ring base, so as to provide an electrical energy to the laser generator.

  • Patent number: 6073531
Abstract: A saw blade adjusting device of a band sawing machine includes an urging seat, an urging knob, an adjusting knob, a sliding seat, and a wheel frame. The urging seat has projections and depressions at a top end thereof, and the urging knob has urging portions projecting from a bottom side of an inner top end thereof, whereby the rotary adjusting motion of the urging knob is translated into an axial reciprocating urging motion. The relative abutment and separation of the urging knob and the urging seat is utilized to achieve tightening and positioning of a saw blade so that the tension of the saw blade and the distance between upper and lower wheel frames during violent cutting operation can be maintained stably to enhance the quality and efficiency of the cutting operation.

  • Patent number: 5901269
Abstract: A speed regulating circuit for a motor of a power coping saw includes a DC voltage circuit, a manual speed regulating circuit, a feedback controlling circuit and a motor driving circuit. The DC voltage circuit includes a diode, a resistor, a capacitor, and a Zener diode. The manual controlling circuit includes a Zener diode and a resistance. The feedback controlling circuit includes an amplifier, a transistor, a pulse transformer. The motor driving circuit includes an SCR and a diode. The manual controlling circuit may first be set with a reference voltage signal corresponding to the intended rotational speed of the motor. The reference voltage signal is sent to the feedback controlling circuit to get a rotational speed controlling signal of a motor with respect to the variation of loads. A DC current is then supplied to the motor driving circuit for constantly rotating the DC motor despite the variation of the load.
