One or more user devices are identified that can be used to perform one or more of the steps. One or more communication channels are identified that are available to the one or more user devices. The communication session is permitted to switch from one or more of the user devices and communication channels to complete the one or more steps of the task while maintaining a continuity of the communication session.

Abstract: A system includes a portable locker configured to contain contents and a remote server. The portable locker is configured to prevent access to the contents until the portable locker arrives at a preset destination from a starting location and notify a remote server in response to a determination that the portable locker is not within a threshold range of a user device during transit to the predefined destination.

Abstract: The validity of a mail item containing a monetary solicitation is determined. An image is received of the mail item and the image is analyzed to identify a plurality of data fields within the mail item. The validity or invalidity of the data within each of the plurality of identified data fields is then established, and a user-interactive image overlay is generated for the image of the mail item that includes a validity indicator for each of the plurality of identified data fields. The validity indicator is representative of the validity or invalidity of the data within each of the identified plurality of data fields. The user-interactive image overlay is sent to a user device to display the image of the mail item.

Abstract: Provided herein is a holistic fraud cocoon that protects a user from incoming or outgoing fraud and phishing communications by capturing, analyzing and either altering, discarding or presenting communications to the user. For example, the holistic fraud cocoon captures all incoming sources (mail, in-person visits, phone, TV, radio, newspapers and internet) and the actions performed by the user, triggered by those sources. Certain actions are held in a queue to be reviewed, validated and acted upon by a third party before the actions are executed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mutual authentication of a user and a container administrator computer system. A container administrator computer system receives a request from a mobile computing device for a user to access a secure container. The request includes a user identifier. The administrator system receives a first authentication factor corresponding to the user. The administrator system authenticates the user by verifying that the first authentication factor matches a first reference authentication factor associated with the user identifier. The administrator system sends a second authentication factor associated with the administrator system to a human-machine interface associated with the secure container or the mobile computing device. The administrator system receives a notification of authentication of the administrator system using the authentication factor. The administrator system transmits an unlock signal to unlock the secure container.

The method further includes transmitting a notification to a merchant system associated with the online store to reserve a good or service for a period of time, capturing, via an input circuit of the user device, user input of the user, and assigning a point value to the user input. The method further includes generating a recommendation to cancel, proceed, or modify the pending purchase order based on an evaluation of the point value, and providing, to the user device, the recommendation during the pendency of the period of time.

The insurance system can apply rental insurance based on realtime operational parameters and on a usage history of the renter so that the insurance being applied to the rental period accurately reflects the risks and costs of the device usage. Realtime operational parameters of the device can be obtained from an electronic control unit on the device. The operational parameters can include information about how the vehicle is being operated and whether or not the device is being used in an autonomous or semi-autonomous operating mode. The usage history can include prior operational parameters from previous rental periods, traffic and other regulatory violations, and other relevant information associated with the user. The usage based insurance can apply to the entire rental period, or to portions of the rental period.

The methods further include causing a retrieval of a user expression map from a first computing device for provision to a second computing device, determining using the user expression map, that the image data is associated with a control event indicative of a directive to perform a particular transaction, and triggering the control event to cause performance of the particular transaction based, at least in part on the determination that the image data is associated with the control event.

An image of the entity is generated based on the processed image information as a non-transparent region of a lens of the wearable device, enabling the entity to appear to be present in the environment to the user. The image of the entity may conceal a real world entity that would otherwise be visible to the user through the wearable device. Other real world entities may be visible to the user through the wearable device.

Abstract: A method implemented on an augmented reality (AR) device includes accessing a user's investment strategy and selecting a material object. The material object and investment controls are displayed on a display screen of the AR device. The user alters the investment strategy using the investment controls. Alternative replacement objects are generated based on changes that the user makes to his or her investment strategy. One or more replacement objects are projected onto the display to represent an alternative material object that the user can afford based on the changed investment strategy.

Abstract: A method includes detecting an initial vocalization by a user in an environment including a primary device and a secondary device, analyzing the initial vocalization to determine whether a future vocalization is likely to contain sensitive information based on the initial vocalization where the future vocalization is a potential future vocalization, and controlling, based on determining that the future vocalization is likely to contain sensitive information, a speaker of the primary device to output a noise canceling signal configured to prevent the secondary device from detecting the future vocalization.
