  • Patent number: 11403686
Abstract: A financial institution computing system may include a steward database and a steward designation circuit. The steward database may store information of a steward of a customer. The information may include interaction information of the steward, which may include information indicative of interactions of the steward with other individuals. The steward designation circuit may determine whether an individual of the other individuals qualifies as a new steward of the customer based on the interaction information of the steward in the steward database. The steward designation circuit may designate the individual as a new steward of the customer in response to determining that the individual qualifies as a new steward of the customer.

  • Patent number: 11379863
Abstract: A financial institution computing system includes an account database configured to store a plurality of transaction statistics with respect to a financial account of a customer, a social media database configured to store a plurality of social media activities of the customer, and a customer metric management circuit. At least one of the plurality of transaction statistics is indicative of a first transaction between the customer and a merchant. The customer metric management circuit is configured to determine a probability model of the customer based on the plurality of transaction statistics and the plurality of social media activities of the customer. The probability model indicates a probability that the customer will conduct a second transaction with the merchant in the future. The customer metric management circuit is further configured to provide the probability model of the customer to a device associated with the merchant.

  • Patent number: 11334857
Abstract: Tandem transactions facilitated through automatic application of a tandem transaction limit are provided. A system includes a group manager that identifies a group including respective identifications indicative of a first user and a second user. A transaction limit manager establishes a first transaction limit for the first user, a second transaction limit for the second user, and a third transaction limit for a combination of the first and second user. A transaction manager dynamically applies the third transaction limit based on a determination that the first and second user are performing a joint transaction. The transaction manager revokes the third transaction limit after a threshold time and applies the first transaction limit to first user transactions and the second transaction limit to second user transactions. Incentives are provided if a user remains at a location for a threshold amount of time or causes other users to visit the location.

  • Patent number: 11270374
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for usage based insurance. The insurance system can apply rental insurance based on realtime operational parameters and on a usage history of the renter so that the insurance being applied to the rental period accurately reflects the risks and costs of the device usage. Realtime operational parameters of the device can be obtained from an electronic control unit on the device. The operational parameters can include information about how the vehicle is being operated and whether or not the device is being used in an autonomous or semi-autonomous operating mode. The usage history can include prior operational parameters from previous rental periods, traffic and other regulatory violations, and other relevant information associated with the user. The usage based insurance can apply to the entire rental period, or to portions of the rental period.

  • Patent number: 11195355
Abstract: Systems and methods for mutual authentication of a user and a container administrator computer system. A container administrator computer system receives a request from a mobile computing device for a user to access a secure container. The request includes a user identifier. The administrator system receives a first authentication factor corresponding to the user. The administrator system authenticates the user by verifying that the first authentication factor matches a first reference authentication factor associated with the user identifier. The administrator system sends a second authentication factor associated with the administrator system to a human-machine interface associated with the secure container or the mobile computing device. The administrator system receives a notification of authentication of the administrator system using the authentication factor. The administrator system transmits an unlock signal to unlock the secure container.

  • Patent number: 11195214
Abstract: A method for determining a value of an item includes receiving an image of a first item captured as a result of focusing an augmented reality (AR) device on the first item. The image of the first item is compared with images of one or more second items from a database. An image of one of the second items is identified that closely corresponds to the image of the first item. Metadata is obtained for the one of the second items. Using the metadata, value information is obtained for the first item. The value information is permitted to be displayed on the AR device.

  • Publication number: 20210266618
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods and systems for viewing a collection of media objects, such as a video clip and associated responses (video, audio and text), in a seamless way. Provided with a media object and a series of responses and counter responses, a real time media combining methodology is coupled with a text and audio conversion process to generate a media stream, or downloadable media object, that contains the original media object and some or all of the associated responses. The media content is formatted into the stream so that ancillary content, like text associated with a particular video response, may also be displayed. Advertisements may be inserted into the stream between responses or overlaying some portion of the viewing area during rendering of the stream.

  • Patent number: 11042858
Abstract: The validity of a mail item containing a monetary solicitation is determined. An image is received of the mail item and the image is analyzed to identify a plurality of data fields within the mail item. The validity or invalidity of the data within each of the plurality of identified data fields is then established, and a user-interactive image overlay is generated for the image of the mail item that includes a validity indicator for each of the plurality of identified data fields. The validity indicator is representative of the validity or invalidity of the data within each of the identified plurality of data fields. The user-interactive image overlay is sent to a user device to display the image of the mail item.
