  • Patent number: 8508159
Abstract: A device for controlling the movement of a both motorically and manually movable vehicle part includes a drive unit controllable in its rotational speed for motorically moving the vehicle part, a coupling device for coupling the drive unit with the vehicle part, and a control unit which controls the drive unit and the coupling device such that during manually moving the vehicle part the coupling device couples the drive unit with the vehicle part if the vehicle part has reached a pre-defined position. The control unit controls the rotational speed of the drive unit depending on the moving speed of the vehicle part. In this way, a device and a method are provided which in an easy and low-wear manner allow for a control of the movement of a both motorically and manually movable vehicle part.

  • Patent number: 8223785
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for processing messages and searching for locating messages in an asynchronous messaging network by using content based message tracking. The message descriptor of each message is extended by a content key generated by the message generating application. The content key provides search information derived from application data contained in the message body. Each message queuing system is extend by a message trace component that administers a message trace queue and adds entries in the message trace queue for each operation of a message, and by a message search component that provides the functionality to search for the current location of a specified message as well as to retrieve a trace of the movement of the message.

  • Patent number: 8023408
Abstract: A message sequence regulator (MSR) system includes a message parser, a message extraction repository, a rules repository, a message definition repository, an interface to a resource monitor for monitoring system resources by single resource monitoring agents, and a notification component for identifying sequence regulation operations which cannot be executed. The MSR system receives copies of messages loaded into or retrieved from queues by a queue manager as well as event messages from the resource monitor. The message extracts parts of the message using message structures defined in the rules repository and stores the extracted parts in the message extraction repository. If a defined condition is found to exist, the MSR system initiates calculation of an appropriate message sequence number or message priority level. The queue manager updates the message record without removing the message from the queue.

  • Patent number: 7707585
Abstract: System, method, and computer program product for automatically monitoring message flow in a message queuing system in an asynchronous messaging network. A message queuing application programming interface appends, in a message descriptor field for recording and monitoring message flow, unique application identification keys of applications that process the message, operation codes applied to the message, and time stamps of operations applied during message processing. The keys are generated by the start-up of the applications and are filled in by each PUT and GET function of the API. After processing of the message, the entries included in the message descriptor field are monitored, and any deviation from a predefined message flow is automatically detected and reported.
