  • Patent number: 10920350
Abstract: A felting needle has a working part that extends lengthwise along a part of the longitudinal extent thereof. The needle has a cross-sectional area which extends in the radial and circumferential directions of the felting needle and forms the cross-sectional area of the working part for much of the length thereof and at least one barb which penetrates into the working part which is formed by an incut running from the outer surface of the working part towards the interior of the needle. The needle includes at least one bulge which projects beyond the circumferential surface of the felting needle in the working part thereof. The bulge extends lengthwise only along a part of the working part and has volume constituents that do not belong to the barbing bead of the barb. The barb adjoins the outer surface of the bulge lengthwise along the felting needle.

  • Publication number: 20200371480
Abstract: For reducing oscillations in a technical system plurality of different controller settings for the technical system is received. For a respective controller setting signal representing a time series of operational data of the technical system controlled by the respective controller setting is received, the signal is processed, whereby the processing includes a transformation into a frequency domain, and an entropy value of the processed signal is determined. Depending on the determined entropy values a controller setting from the plurality of controller settings is selected, and the selected controller setting is output for configuring the technical system.

  • Publication number: 20200208690
Abstract: A method and an open-loop and closed-loop control device for compensating for a clutch torque of a separating clutch located between an internal combustion engine and an electric machine in a hybrid drive of a motor vehicle. The compensation takes into consideration the rotational speed of the electric machine. The rotational speed of the electric machine impacts clutch torque. A compensation factor is calculated, and increases or decreases the necessary clutch torque, causing a corresponding actuation of an actuator to achieve the necessary clutch torque.

  • Patent number: 10493917
Abstract: A vehicular trailer backup assist system is operable to steer a vehicle, with a trailer connected at the rear of the vehicle, during a reversing maneuver of the vehicle and trailer. The system electronically overlays a plurality of zones over displayed video images, with each individual zone of the overlayed plurality of zones being indicative of a respective individual region rearward of the vehicle and trailer. Responsive to a selected zone of travel for the trailer, the control controls steering of the vehicle to steer the vehicle to guide the trailer towards the respective individual region that is encompassed by the selected zone of travel during reversing of the vehicle and trailer. The driver of the vehicle manually adjusts steering of the vehicle to more accurately steer the vehicle towards a target location within the respective individual region that is encompassed by the selected zone of travel.
