  • Publication number: 20160185496
Abstract: An apparatus includes a bottle, a cap, and a tamper evident film. The bottle forms an opening having a lip that extends circumferentially around the opening. The cap is able to cover and seal the opening. The cap has a top with an outer surface, an inner surface, and a side wall. The outer surface and the side wall define a recessed region of the cap. The tamper evident film includes a perforated tear strip. The perforated tear strip is positioned to overlap a portion of the recessed region. The cap may also include a combination of micro knurls and/or micro knurls along the side wall of the cap. • Publication number: 20160165265
Abstract: In particular embodiments a social networking system may receive from an external system outside the social-networking system, a request comprising a user identifier associated with a user of the social-networking system, query a social graph for stories generated by one or more connections of the user on the social-networking system, and transmit the stories to the external system. Similarly the social networking system may receive, from an external system outside of the social networking system, a request comprising a user identifier associated with a user of the social networking system, a content identifier, and a action performed by the user on the content identifier, generate a story for the received request, and publish the story to one or more connections of the user on the social networking system.

  • Patent number: 9356420
Abstract: A laser rod assembly includes a first and second laser rod embedded in a cladding material. The assembly has a first end and a second end. The laser rods generate laser light at ?laser (?laser light) when pumped by pump power at ?pump. A reflecting outer surface at ?pump is on or over a majority of an outer surface of the cladding material. Fold optic(s) on the second end provides optical coupling between the laser rods. An optical resonator includes a highly reflecting (HR) mirror at ?laser over an end of the first laser rod on the first end and an output coupler over an end of the second laser rod also on the first end.

  • Publication number: 20150342832
Abstract: A bottle for storing liquid nutrition and feeding liquid nutrition to an infant. The bottle includes a base portion, a neck portion for removably securing a cap or nipple, and a body portion disposed between the base portion and the neck portion. A rib protrudes from an outer surface of the bottle and is arranged for manual gripping by a user to manipulate a position of the bottle relative the infant. The outer surface of the bottle may include at least two remote and distinct outer surface areas which each define a cylindrical section of the bottle. Each surface area may be positioned for engagement by machinery during a filling operation.

  • Publication number: 20140280629
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating a composer prompt to induce a user to post a message at a social network system is disclosed. The method starts with retrieving information about the user, the user information being stored in a profile at the social networking system. It assesses the user information and temporal information to determine content and format of the composer prompt. Then the method generates a new composer prompt based at least partially on an assessment of the information and display the new composer prompt to the user.

  • Publication number: 20140158688
Abstract: A closure for a container is described. The container has an opening through which contents of the container are dispensed and a holding member (255, 285, 295, 305, 315, 316, 317, 340, 350) for cooperating with the closure to retain the closure on the container. A sealing member (220) is configured to sealingly close the container opening. The sealing member includes a retention member (260, 275, 290, 300, 310, 325, 335, 345, 355) engageable with the holding member of the container to retain the sealing member in sealing engagement with the container. A cap member (225) has a top rim and a sidewall depending from the top rim. The sidewall includes an attachment member (160) for attachment to the container and an engagement member (245) that operatively couples the sealing member to the cap member upon placement of the cap member on the container. The cap member is rotatable relative to the container and relative to the sealing member.

  • Publication number: 20130313218
Abstract: According to techniques of the application, a closure includes a sidewall, a plurality of knurls, a top surface, and a rim. The sidewall has an outer surface, about which the knurls are distributed. The top surface is bounded by the sidewall. The rim includes a portion of the sidewall extending above the top surface, a top edge, and an inner surface. The rim has a first curvature having a first curvature radius. The first curvature is convex and extends from the top edge of the rim towards the outer surface of the sidewall. The rim has a second curvature having a second curvature radius. The first curvature radius is larger than second curvature radius.
