  • Publication number: 20240074772
Abstract: Retrieval of material from vessel lumens can be improved by electrically enhancing attachment of the material to the removal device. The removal device can have a core assembly that includes a hypotube coupled to a first electrical terminal and a pushwire coupled to a second electrical terminal, the pushwire extending through the hypotube lumen. An insulating layer separates the hypotube and the pushwire, and an interventional element is coupled to a distal end of the pushwire. The interventional element can be disposed adjacent to a thrombus. An electrical signal is delivered to the interventional element to promote adhesion of the thrombus to the interventional element. The electrical signal can optionally be a periodic waveform, and the total energy delivered can be between 0.75-24,000 mJ and the peak current delivered via the electrical signal can be between 0.5-5 mA.

  • Patent number: 11879953
Abstract: A method for evaluating gastric and upper small intestine motility and emptying in a gastrointestinal tract of a subject using magnetic resonance imaging includes administering a contrast agent to the subject; acquiring, using an MRI system, a set of MR data from the subject using a three-dimensional volumetric pulse sequence. The volumetric pulse sequence has a temporal resolution and a spatial resolution configured to facilitate measurement of volumetric and motility parameters. The method further includes reconstructing a set of images using the set of MR data, segmenting each image in the set of images to isolate a region of interest in the gastrointestinal tract of the subject, determining at least one volumetric and motility parameter based on the set of segmented images, and generating a report indicating the at least one volumetric or motility parameter.

  • Publication number: 20230359943
Abstract: A system makes predictions using a machine learning model combined with a knowledge model. The system provides input data to a knowledge model and a machine learning based model. The machine learning based model is trained to make predictions based on input data. The system provides the outputs of the machine learning based model and the knowledge model to an ensemble model configured to combine results of the knowledge model and the machine learning based model. The system can be used for several applications. For example, the system may classify an input text based on a hierarchy of categories. • Patent number: 11741488
Abstract: A system and method directs promotional information, such as coupons of possible interest to a user, when they release their cloud-stored print job from a multifunction peripheral at their selected location. The user is identified, along with their location, and promotional information of possible relevance to the user is displayed on the multifunction peripheral touchscreen. Information selected by the user will be printed out along with their released print job. Businesses register and store their promotional information with the cloud print server, and may be assessed a fee when their literature is printed.

  • Publication number: 20230269244
Abstract: A multifunction peripheral (MFP) includes user selectable functions that call home applications on the device that direct it to work cooperatively with cloud service providers. To avoid requiring users to login to each cloud service each time they use it, they are registered with an authorization server to establish and grant identity and authorization tokens. When a user logs in to an MFP, they are redirected to login to the authorization server which then sends tokens to the MFP identifying the user and their permissions and licenses. Home applications associated by the tokens are displayed for selection. Each time a home application using a cloud service is selected, a background application sends the user's session tokens with a service request to an associated cloud service resource server. The resource servers processes authenticated requests and return the result to the MFP which completes the selected home application function.

  • Publication number: 20230014572
Abstract: A system and method for employee retention includes determining an employee's happiness level by analysis of their attire from a captured image. Image capture and employee identification is commenced when an employee uses their employer ID to enter a work premises. Captured images are analyzed for attire content. Attire content is categorized and analyzed relative to other fashion images to gage an employee's likes or dislikes, along with their happiness level. Remedial suggestions are generated when a happiness level falls below a set threshold level. Remedial suggestions may include gifts personal to an employee as determined from their attire. Captured images and web data are subject to artificial intelligence and machine learning to continuously improve analysis and recommendations.
