  • Publication number: 20110225654
Abstract: The present invention is a write-proof protection method of a storage device. The storage device includes a buffer to store data temporarily, with a capacity of the buffer being adjustable; and a write-proof control unit. The write-proof protection method includes transmitting a write-in protection signal to the write-proof control unit from an operating unit; the write-proof control unit writing a file that is written into a computer into the buffer of the storage device, rather than a file system. When a stand-alone write-proof condition has been set by a user, an unknown program that has been written in can be a virus pattern, and the unknown program in the buffer can be analyzed to discover a new virus early, so as to achieve an antivirus effect.

  • Patent number: 8018601
Abstract: A exemplary method for determining vibration displacement in interferometric scanning, in which two optical signals having a phase difference with each other of a high-coherence interferogram corresponding to a tested surface is detected for determining a shifting displacement between the reference plane of interferometric apparatus and the tested surface. In one embodiment, a series of the shifting displacements with respect to a time interval are measured for determining the vibrating frequency of the tested surface by spectrum analysis. Meanwhile, an exemplary interferometric apparatus is also disclosed for calculating the relative position between the tested surface and the reference plane of interferometric apparatus whereby the interferometric apparatus is capable of compensating influences of vibration caused by the environment or the tested surface itself so as to obtain the surface profile and vibration frequency of the tested surface.

  • Publication number: 20090055485
Abstract: An anonymous instant messaging system that protects a user's identity and location while allowing numerous users to communicate without being acquainted is disclosed. To request information a user selects a geographical location and relevant topic. The user then sends the information request to a message bot via an instant messenger client. A user geographic and topic matching system provides an active matching users list to the message bot. The message bot then sends the information request message to all of the matching users. The matching users receive and read the information request from the message bot. If a user chooses to reply to the message, the user sends their response to the message bot. The user geographic and topic matching system gives the original question issuer's instant messenger identification to the message bot. The message bot passes the reply to the information request to the original question issuer.
