  • Publication number: 20190204028
Abstract: A evaporator provides an evaporator that includes an evaporator core, an evaporator tank attached to the evaporator core, at least one baffle incorporated into the evaporator tank, and multi-piece end plate assemblies attached to the tank. Each end plate assembly includes inner and an outer end plate layers. Each of the layers includes crimps. The inner end plate layer is preliminarily attached to the open end of the evaporator tank, during which proper alignment of the plate to the tank is made. The crimps of the inner end plate layer are crimped over. The outer end plate layer is then preliminarily attached to the inner end plate layer by crimping, thereby allowing preliminary attachment of the end plates to the tank to assure proper alignment prior to the end plates being fixed in position by a method such as brazing.

  • Publication number: 20140311965
Abstract: A filter arrangement for liquids has a filter housing and a functional carrier arranged inside the filter housing. A cylindrical filter element is inserted axially into the filter housing and defines an unfiltered side and a filtered side inside the filter housing. A non-return diaphragm is secured within the filter housing, wherein the non-return diaphragm is arranged on the functional carrier so as to effect an axial and/or radial sealing action of the unfiltered side relative to the filtered side of the filter arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20140217802
Abstract: There is provided an adjustable air chamber which is located beneath the prostate area that is housed within the cushion of the seat contour which may be vertically deflated and reinflated 1½ inches by utilizing an electronic two-position switch located alongside the automobile and truck seat. The rider may select the desired position to allow for maximum rider comfort. The electronic pump would be actuated by a motor controlled by the electronic two-position switch and force air into the air chamber. A pressure valve between the pump and air chamber would be used to bleed off excessive air to prevent over inflation. Accordingly, the prostate automobile and truck seat would eliminate contact on the prostate thereby reducing the risk of deleterious effects on the rider's prostate.

  • Patent number: 8652327
Abstract: A fluid filter providing several degrees of filtering is designed to be receivable in a filter container that is closable by a cover. The filter itself includes both an annular main filter element, through which fluid to be filtered can pass radially to undergo primary filtration, and a supplemental filter element, to which fluid discharged from the main filter element passes to provide supplemental filtration additional to the primary filtration. The main filter element, the supplemental filter element, or both may be oblong or circular in cross section. At least one of a pair of end caps disposed on opposed ends of the main filter element carries the supplemental filter element as well as one end of the main filter element. That end cap may or may not be permanently secured to the one filter element end.

  • Patent number: 8470175
Abstract: A fuel filter, such as a filter for filtering gasoline or diesel fuel to be supplied to an internal combustion engine, includes an annular main filter element through which fluid to be filtered can pass radially, and a supplemental fluid processing element disposed within the main filter element to which fluid discharged from the main filter element passes. The filter also has end caps, between which opposite ends of both the main filter element and the supplemental fluid processing element are disposed, and to which the opposite ends of both the main filter element and the supplemental fluid processing element are secured. Fluid is discharged from a central volume of the filter through one of the end caps.

  • Patent number: 8230645
Abstract: An adjustable restraining stop assembly permits a residential double hung window to be locked in a partially opened position to permit ventilation through the partial opening. The stop assembly includes an outer tube with a telescoping inner tube. The outer tube is mounted to a window sash by a removable fixation device, such as a mounting hook and loop arrangement. A convenience knob is attached near the distal end of the inner tube. Adjustment is set by placing a desired hole of a plurality of holes in the telescoping inner tube in registration with a single hole in the outer tube and then inserting the end of a fastener, such as a cotter pin, locking both tubes together.

  • Patent number: 8113583
Abstract: The prostate golf cart seat protects the prostate area of men from continuous bouncing by providing 1½ inches of air space between the seat and the prostate. The prostate golf cart seat may be movable or stationary. The stationary seat has two 7 inch wide spaces with 1½ inches of air space under the prostate. All seat cushions are 1½ inches thick allowing for the 1½ inches of air space between the seat and the prostate. The movable seat has two 8 inch stationary end cushions. The center would consist of two 8 inch cushions moving along a rail which allows riders to close the 7 inch seat gap to 3 inches from the stationary end cushion. The center air space between each rider and seat of each would have a depth 1½ inches. A “T” bolt or a knurled knob is used for adjusting the seat cushions. The stationary seat has two 7 inch wide spaces. A depth of 1½ inches between the prostate and the seat is effectuated as the seat itself is 1½ inches thick.

  • Patent number: 8073665
Abstract: A method for analyzing an oilfield network. The method includes collecting oilfield data from an oilfield network, modeling a first wellsite and a second wellsite using the oilfield data to create a first production model of the first wellsite and a second production model of the second wellsite. The method further includes modeling a sub-network of the oilfield network to create a third production model of the sub-network. The modeling of the sub-network includes identifying a junction of branches associated with the first wellsite and the second wellsite. A fourth production model is created for the junction by combining the first production model with the second production model. The production model of the sub-network is created using the fourth production model of the junction. The method further includes solving the oilfield network based on the third production model to create a production result, and storing the production result.
