  • Publication number: 20190311192
Abstract: One example of a video monitoring system includes a frame acquisition subsystem, a stage gate motion detection subsystem, a person detection subsystem, a face recognition subsystem, and an alert emission subsystem. The frame acquisition subsystem extracts frames from an input video. The stage gate motion detection subsystem separates background motion from foreground motion within frames. The person detection subsystem detects people including faces and bodies within the foreground motion. The face recognition subsystem matches detected faces to previously registered users. The alert emission subsystem provides alerts based on events detected by the stage gate motion subsystem, the person detection subsystem, and the face recognition subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20190283058
Abstract: Dispenser systems, dispensers, and repositories can add a fragrance to an unscented liquid beauty preparation. The dispenser system includes a dispenser having a cavity for retaining at least a first liquid, and a repository configured for removably attaching to the dispenser, the repository having a reservoir for retaining at least a second liquid. The dispenser is coupled with a pump assembly including at least one pump for drawing the at least a first liquid and the at least a second liquid into a mixing chamber. The mixing chamber is coupled with an actuator in such a manner that when the actuator is pressed down by an external force, the mixing chamber communicates with the pump to suction the first and second liquids into the mixing chamber to form a liquid mixture for dispensing through a nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20190088025
Abstract: A display device receives video data, location data, position data from a remotely controlled unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The display device converts a first set of coordinates from the location and position data to a second set of coordinates of a virtual world model. A user of the display device provides a selection of an AR object at the display device that is also used to control the remotely controlled UAV. The display device associates the selected AR object with the second set of coordinates and providing information of the selected AR object and the second set of coordinates to a server.

  • Publication number: 20180241694
Abstract: An interconnect apparatus enables improved signal integrity, even at high clock rates, increased bandwidth, and lower latency. An interconnect apparatus can comprise a plurality of logic units and a plurality of buses coupling the plurality of logic units in a selected configuration of logic units arranged in triplets comprising logic units LA, LC, and LD. The logic units LA and LC are positioned to send data to the logic unit LD. The logic unit LC has priority over the logic unit LA to send data to the logic unit LD. For a packet PKT divided into subpackets, a subpacket of the packet PKT at the logic unit LA, and the packet specifying a target either: (A) the logic unit LC sends a subpacket of the packet.

  • Patent number: 9934027
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the development, delivery and deployment of action-oriented business applications supported by a cloud based action server platform are provided. The cloud action platform enables the development, delivery and deployment of a new type of business application—Action Apps which are the opposite of traditional business applications which are large, expensive, viewed as an investment, hard to upgrade and oftentimes require training. The Action Apps are light-weight consumer friendly micro-apps that enable the business user to take the right actions, at the right time to produce the right business outcome. The action may be as simple as approving a vacation request, or it may trigger a series of more complex actions such as automatically discounting stock based upon competitors pricing within a specific radius in a given timeframe.
