  • Publication number: 20230108784
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to engineered CRISPR-Cas effector proteins that comprise at least one modification compared to an unmodified CRISPR-Cas effector protein that enhances binding of the of the CRISPR complex to the binding site and/or alters editing preference as compared to wild type. In certain example embodiments, the CRISPR-Cas effector protein is a Type V effector protein. In certain other example embodiments, the Type V effector protein is Cpf1. Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to viral vectors for delivery of CRISPR-Cas effector proteins, including Cpf1. In certain example embodiments, the vectors are designed so as to allow packaging of the CRISPR-Cas effector protein within a single vector. • Publication number: 20230076904
Abstract: An accessory door handle can be clamped onto an existing door handle currently installed in the door. The accessory door handle can be dedicated for use when an individual is wearing gloves, so that the existing door handle may be reserved for use when not wearing a glove. This decreases the chances of contamination and makes the handles easier to clean. The accessory door handle is suitable for use in laboratory and clean room conditions.

  • Patent number: 11580306
Abstract: Methods and system for determining a similarity relationship between a plurality of digital assets and a target digital asset comprises creating a normalized semantic feature vector associated with a search query, discovering the target asset based on the normalized semantic feature vector, generating a normalized latent feature vector associated with the target asset, comparing the normalized semantic feature vector with semantic feature vectors for each of the digital assets to generate a semantic comparison value, comparing the normalized target latent feature vector with latent feature vectors for each of the digital assets to generate a latent comparison value, blending the semantic comparison vector value with the latent feature comparison vector value to create a target comparison value for each of the digital assets, and reporting the digital assets having the highest target comparison values to the user or group of users.

  • Publication number: 20230029656
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for identifying unmanaged cloud resources with endpoint and network logs and attributing the identified cloud resources to an entity of an enterprise that owns the cloud resources. The process collects data from sources, e.g., endpoint and network logs, with respect to traffic in a computer network and based at least in part on the data, extracts relationships related to the traffic. The process applies rules to the relationships to extract destinations in the computer network that provide cloud resources in a cloud environment, wherein the cloud resources are owned by an enterprise. One or more users or business entities of the enterprise are identified as accessing the cloud resources.

  • Patent number: 11558424
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for using passively collected network data to automatically generate a fingerprint prevalence database without the need for endpoint ground truth. The process first clusters all observations with the same fingerprint string and similar source and destination context. The process then annotates each cluster with descriptive information and uses a rule-based system to derive an informative name from that descriptive information, e.g., “winnt amp client” or “cross-platform browser”. Optionally, the learned database may be augmented by a user to clarify custom process labels. Additionally, the generated database may be used to report the inferred processes in the same way as databases generated with endpoint ground truth.

  • Publication number: 20230001199
Abstract: Systems and methods for pacing cardiac conductive tissue are described. An embodiment of a medical system includes an electrostimulation circuit to generate His-bundle pacing (HBP) pulses to stimulate a His bundle, and a cardiac event detector to detect a His-bundle activity within a time window following an atrial activity. The cardiac event detector may use a cross-chamber blanking, or an adjustable His-bundle sensing threshold, to avoid or reduce over-sensing of far-field atrial activity and inappropriate inhibition of HBP therapy. The electrostimulation circuit may deliver HBP in the presence of the His-bundle activity. The system may further recognize the detected His-bundle activity as either a FFPW or a valid inhibitory event, and deliver or withhold HBP therapy based on the recognition of the His-bundle activity.

  • Publication number: 20230001212
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically controlling His-bundle pacing (HBP) according to an indication of a rate-related or intermittent atrioventricular (AV) block in a subject are disclosed. An exemplary medical system includes an AV conduction monitor to detect an indication of either a presence or an absence of intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance using physiologic information of the subject. In the event that an intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance is present, a control circuit provides a control signal to an electrostimulation circuit to deliver HBP pulses. If there is no indication of intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance, or a previously detected intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance has been terminated, the control circuit withholds or discontinues delivery of the HBP pulses to promote intrinsic ventricular conduction and activation.

  • Publication number: 20220391266
Abstract: A method for function call invocation is described. A function call that is implemented in a first programming language and corresponds to a function implemented in a second programming language is received by an application bridge interface implemented in the first programming language. The first programming language is different from the second programming language. A common data structure is generated by a bridge module based at least in part on the function call received by the application bridge interface. The common data structure is sent by the bridge module to a native bridge interface implemented in the second programming language. The common data structure is converted by the native bridge interface to a native data structure implemented in the second programming language. The function is called by the native bridge interface using the native data structure implemented in the second programming language.
