  • Publication number: 20240144133
Abstract: A system and method assessing maritime vessel risk in response to automatically detected maritime visual events is provided. At least one maritime visual event is detected by at least one camera aboard a vessel that provides image data of the visual event to a processor. The visual event can be associated with at least one of, safety, security, maintenance, crew behavior, and cargo. A risk assessment score is produced in response to the detected visual event, and that risk assessment score is provided to a user in a desired format. Production of the risk assessment score can entail comparing the visual event to data of complying or non-complying model visual events from a data storage. Risk assessment scores can be aggregated from plurality of events and/or a fleet of vessels to generate overall scores for the vessel and fleet.

  • Publication number: 20240139065
Abstract: Methods of operating a haptic actuator to apply physical and/or thermal sensations to a user to provide subjective symptom relief to a user are described. In some embodiments, a haptic actuator may be automatically activated when one or more detected user states are compared to one or more predetermined activation parameters to determine the user is experiencing an episode related to a condition of the user. In another embodiment, one or more operating parameters of a haptic actuator may be updated if the haptic actuator did not provided a desired amount of subjective symptom relief to a user during use. In yet another embodiment, a haptic actuator may create an event log based on activation events when the haptic actuator is used to provide symptom relief for a condition of the user.

  • Publication number: 20240138794
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described including acquiring 3D image data of a skeletal portion. A computer processor (22) is used to designate a skin-level incision point (235) or a skeletal-portion level entry point within the body of the subject and associate the designated point with the 3D image data. A radiopaque element (258) is positioned on the body of the subject with respect to the skeletal portion and an intraoperative 2D radiographic image is acquired of the skeletal portion, such that the radiopaque element appears in the 2D radiographic image. The computer processor (i) registers the 2D radiographic image to the 3D image data such that the designated point appears in the 2D radiographic image, and (ii) displays a location of the designated point with respect to the radiopaque element on the 2D radiographic image. Other applications are also described.

  • Patent number: 11972569
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multi-model object segmentation system that provides a multi-model object segmentation framework for automatically segmenting objects in digital images. In one or more implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system utilizes different types of object segmentation models to determine a comprehensive set of object masks for a digital image. In various implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system further improves and refines object masks in the set of object masks utilizing specialized object segmentation models, which results in more improved accuracy and precision with respect to object selection within the digital image. Further, in some implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system generates object masks for portions of a digital image otherwise not captured by various object segmentation models.

  • Patent number: 11972388
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to providing real-time response strategies in a supply chain. A system may be configured to obtain first sensor data collected from a first tracking device associated with a first asset, determine a first set of external data associated with the first asset, determine, based at least in part on the first sensor data and the first set of external data, a probability of failure and a mode of failure, and responsive to a determination that the probability of failure exceeds a failure threshold: determine a mitigation for the mode of failure that is available based at least in part on the first sensor data and the first set of external data, determine one or more real-world actions corresponding to the mitigation that, if performed, remediate the mode of failure, and cause the one or more real-world actions to be performed.

  • Patent number: 11961125
Abstract: One variation of a method for quantifying user engagement includes: serving a digital advertisement to a mobile device; recording a first proportion of pixels of the digital advertisement rendered on a display of the mobile device during a first sampling period; recording a second proportion of pixels of the digital advertisement rendered on the display of the mobile device during a second sampling period offset in time from the first sampling period; calculating a cumulative pixel exposure of the digital advertisement at the mobile device based on a combination of a first product of the first proportion of pixels and a duration of the first sampling period and a second product of the second proportion of pixels and a duration of the second sampling period; and storing the cumulative pixel exposure as an engagement metric for a user consuming the digital advertisement at the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20240121302
Abstract: An entity for RDMA is configured to maintain a time-based queue pair (QP). The time-based QP comprises a first area associated with a time-based indication and is configured to hold one or more first WQEs. The time-based indication indicates that the one or more WQEs in the first area are to be periodically processed. The entity is further configured to periodically process the one or more first WQEs in the first area according to the time-based indication.
