The lid assembly includes an inner lid divided into two sections by a dividing wall. The first and second jars are connectable to the first and second sections, forming a single container. The lid assembly forms a barrier between the first and second jars and allows the jars to be opened separately.

Abstract: The preparation of an oxidative dehydrogenation catalyst comprising Mo, V, Nb and Te using a hydrothermal step. In some embodiments, the activity and reproducibility of the catalyst is improved by conducting the hydrothermal step while permitting gaseous products to leave the reactor. In some instances a condenser may be upstream of the outlet of the reactor.

Abstract: A quick release container is provided that includes a base having a base perimeter with a well configured to hold a product, and a lid assembly configured to be removably coupled to the base. The lid assembly includes a lid having: (i) an outer portion extending around a top of the base and having a height extending from the top of the base; and (ii) an inner portion extending between a perimeter of the outer portion and disposed over the well of the base. The lid assembly also includes a depressible element extending between the perimeter of the outer portion, spaced from the inner portion and configured to move along the height of the outer portion, and a clamping device coupled to the lid and removably coupled to the base.

Abstract: A catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of ethane with an empirical formula Mo—V—Te—Nb—Pd—O produced using a process comprising impregnation of the Pd component on the surface of the catalyst following a calcination step using a Pd compound free of halogens. The resulting catalyst can be used in both diluted and undiluted ODH processes and shows higher than expected activity without any loss of selectivity.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a container assembly having a cap with a channel and a base with protrusions on a collar. The protrusions are received in the channel and guide the cap in a rotating motion onto the base. The cap and base may have magnets that provide an attractive force that brings the cap and base together. The container in cosmetics applications is also discussed.

Abstract: A cosmetic compact container having a folding lid with a mirror on the folding lid. The compact includes a base and first and section lid sections. One of the two lid sections may include a mirror. An example may enable a user to view the mirror both in the closed and open configuration. Another example may include a particular opening configuration in which the lid is biased to close during a first stage of opening and, after reaching a selected “amount” of opening, the lid is biased to finish opening. Such biasing may be accomplished without the use of a spring.

Abstract: A method and system to manage user reputations is described. In some embodiments, a first picture is received from a first user and a second picture is received from a second user. The first picture and the second picture are associated with an in-person transaction related to an item. The method determines whether both the first picture and the second picture identify the item. The method further determines whether both the first picture and the second picture were taken at a similar geographic location. If the first picture and the second picture identify the item and were taken at a similar geographic location, transaction feedback is requested from the first user. A reputation score related to the second user is updated based on transaction feedback received from the first user.

Abstract: A method of producing an apparatus to remove ions from water is disclosed, wherein the apparatus includes a first electrode having a first current collector, a second electrode having a second current collector, and a spacer between the first and second electrodes to allow water to flow in between the electrodes.
