Sector m may generate an over-the-air (OTA) other-sector interference (OSI) report and/or an inter-sector (IS)OSI report based on the interference estimate. Sector m may send the IS OSI report to the neighbor sectors, receive IS OSI reports from the neighbor sectors, and regulate data transmissions for terminals in sector m based on the received IS OSI reports. Sector m may control admission of terminals to sector m, de-assign admitted terminals, schedule terminals in sector m in a manner to reduce interference to the neighbor sectors, and/or assign the terminals in sector m with traffic channels that cause less interference to the neighbor sectors.

The control message can be placed on a set of resources utilizing planned reuse and/or statistical reuse. Statistical reuse includes selecting a subcarrier set for carrying the control message. According to some aspects, the control message can be sent over a backhaul channel.

Abstract: A method for stabilizing lipid components is provided in which a protein-lipid emulsification product is formed, and the isoelectric point of the emulsification product is determined. The pH of the emulsion is adjusted below the isoelectric point of the protein component in the emulsion system to form an emulsification product having an overall positive net charge. The lipid oxidation rates of these protein-stabilized emulsions are significantly lower at this pH value than of those above the pI of the protein component used in the emulsion system. As the difference between the pH of the emulsion and the pI of the protein component in the emulsion is increased the inhibition of lipid oxidation is also increased. These stabilized emulsification products are particularly useful in the production of water-based foods requiring the addition of inherently unstable oil or lipid components.

An orientation sensor detects an orientation of the speaker array and provides an orientation signal. An audio receiver receives a number of audio signals that include spatial position information. An audio processor is coupled to the speakers, the orientation sensor, and the audio receiver. The audio processor receives the audio signals and the orientation signal, and selectively routes the audio signals to the speakers according to the spatial position information and the orientation signal such that the spatial position information is perceptible to a listener. The orientation signal may be provided by a compass, an accelerometer, an inertial sensor, or other device. The orientation signal may be provided according to selection of display orientation, shape of touch input, image recognition of the listener, or the like.
