  • Publication number: 20080232790
Abstract: A camera monitor comprises a main body, a camera device, and a reflecting mirror, wherein the main body has a cover pervious to light and is provided with at least a light thereon for illumination. The camera device is disposed within the main body and covered by the cover. The reflecting mirror is disposed on the cover at the location that corresponds to the camera lens within the main body so that an image outside the main body can be reflected by the reflecting mirror to the camera lens.

  • Patent number: 7389313
Abstract: A method for creating a snapshot copy of a database object includes creating a mirror of the database on a plurality of volumes. A user may provide a request to create a snapshot of a database object to a database utility. The database utility responds to the snapshot request by providing an indication of selected volumes of the mirror that correspond to the database object to a volume manager. The volume manager then creates a snapshot volume for each of the selected volumes of the mirror.

  • Publication number: 20060178921
Abstract: A project management system is disclosed. The project management system contains a schedule management subsystem and a progress management subsystem. The schedule management subsystem contains a schedule generator and a task assignment notification unit. The schedule generator generates a schedule table from project management information and task status information. The task assignment notification unit sends task assignment notices in accordance with the schedule table. The progress management subsystem, in communication with the schedule management subsystem, contains a task deadline controller and a deadline notification unit. The task deadline controller establishes a deadline control table in accordance with the task duration data. The deadline notification unit sends a deadline notice in accordance with the task deadline control table.

  • Publication number: 20060125324
Abstract: The present invention discloses a timer switch that uses an integrated circuit to control the time and a self-locking electromagnetic coil solenoid valve to drive the operation of a microswitch, which is particularly applicable to be installed on a wall as a timer switch. The switch device uses the electronic control of two 1.5V AA batteries to enter a set time through input keys, and a CPU will issue a pulse with very short timing of 30 ms to the solenoid to produce a magnetic field to drive a turning rod and open a primary switch in order to turn on or off a circuit.

  • Publication number: 20050033622
Abstract: A computer implemented method uses a system (100) for managing meetings. The system (100) has, a database (104) with data fields for entering a meeting definition of a future meeting as meeting definition data; a computer memory (106) storing the data for retrieval by the database (104); and an auto-mailer (108) sending an encrypted and read only meeting definition document and meeting reminders that are generated by the database (104) and sent by the auto-mailer (108) to notify meeting members identified by the data about a future meeting described by the data.

  • Publication number: 20050020308
Abstract: Communication devices are provided for use in a communication network, where the devices include a control subsystem that forms an electronic linkage between the device and a removeably coupled identity module. The control subsystem receives identification information of device components and the identity module and, in response, dynamically links the device to the identity module by writing the identification information to a binding file along with an assigned device identification corresponding to the device and identity module combination. The binding file is in a memory area of the identity module. The information of the binding file controls subsequent activation and operation of the device in a communication network. Therefore, the control subsystem supports use of a single identity module, for example a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM)/User Identity Module (UIM), among many devices.

  • Patent number: 6845541
Abstract: A shoe last and a device for detachably mounting the last on a vertical surface that firmly supports the last permitting a user to conveniently polish a shoe mounted on the last. A knob is mounted on the heel section of the last that provides a grip when it is desired to withdraw the last from a shoe. A hinge bar is provided that has one end hinged to a base surface and another end with an aperture into which the knob may be inserted and clamped when it is desired to secure the shoe on the last in a position convenient for polishing. The inclination of the hinge bar may be clamped at an angle selected by the user. When it is desired to store the last (with shoe mounted on the last) the last is attached to any one of numerous locations on a rack by inserting the knob into an aperture ate the selected location.

  • Publication number: 20050010576
Abstract: A file differencing and updating system is provided that includes a file differencing component and a file updating component. The file differencing component, or file differencing engine, generates a difference file in a first processor-based or computer system from an original or old version and a new version of an electronic file. The file updating component, or file updating engine, generates a copy of the new file on a second processor-based or computer system using the difference file and the hosted copy of the original file.

  • Patent number: 6552616
Abstract: An apparatus and method of compensating for differences in circuit routing path lengths is described. In one embodiment, a latch is inserted between reset signal generating logic and a pair of flip-flops. When a reset signal is generated, the reset signal is held inside the latch until both flip-flops are reset. A latch reset signal may be generated by the flip-flops to clear the latch. The circuit may be configured to ensure that both flip-flops are reset before the reset signal is disabled.

  • Patent number: 6253586
Abstract: An apparatus for a large throughput fabric processing operation including a conveyor belt passing under a row of washers and having an extraction (spinning) apparatus at the end of the belt. The production line involves top loading each washer as required and dumping the batches of fabric on the belt after completing the washing step. The extraction step involves varying the rate of spin and the tilt of the extraction cyclinder in order to maintain an even distribution of fabric and then rocking the extractor to loosen the load from the inside surface of the extractor. Processing oprations to which this invention may be applied include, laundering, dyeing and drycleaning.

  • Patent number: 5233128
Abstract: A barrel-cleaning bullet contains a charge of cleaning fluid and an array of cleaning elements that extend about the exterior surface of the bullet. Upon firing of the bullet, a piston, slidably positioned in the cavity filled by the fluid, forces the fluid through at least one discharge port formed in the head of the bullet. The fluid is, thus, distributed along the walls of the gun barrel to treat accumulated deposits. As the projectile accelerates down the barrel, the cleaning elements contact the deposits to clean the barrel bore.
