    Abstract: A multi-part, multi-fold, multi-compartment portable carrying and storage case, includes a lower case section including a first bottom wall and a first peripheral wall upstanding from a peripheral edge of the first bottom wall. A case cover is hingedly connected with the lower case section, the case cover including a lower half shell and a half shell cover. The lower half shell is hingedly connected with the lower case section for covering and closing the first storage compartment. The lower half shell includes a second bottom wall and a second peripheral wall upstanding from a peripheral edge of the second bottom wall, with a second storage compartment defined within the second peripheral wall and the second bottom wall. A half shell cover is hingedly connected with the lower half shell for covering and closing the second storage compartment.

    Abstract: A stepped-type organizer for use with compact disks or other articles, includes a first L-shaped section having a first rectangular plate connected at a substantially 90.degree. angle to a second rectangular plate at a first corner line; and a second L-shaped section having a third rectangular plate connected at a substantially 90.degree. angle to a fourth rectangular plate at a second corner line; all of the plates having equal widths, and the first plate having a first length, the third plate having a lesser length than the first length and the second and fourth plates having even lesser lengths. One edge of the first plate is connected to one edge of the third plate at a raised third corner line, so as to provide a zig-zag arrangement, with the stepped-type organizer being supportable on a surface by the first and second corner lines.

    Abstract: An organizer includes a plurality of horizontal compartments defined by horizontally arranged shelves, and at least one vertical compartment arranged adjacent to the plurality of horizontal compartments. A slide-out shelf is removably mounted at an intermediate position in a vertical direction of the at least one vertical compartment to divide the at least one vertical compartment into an upper compartment and a lower compartment. The slide-out shelf has a first said stop on a first surface thereof and a second said stop on an opposite second surface thereof for preventing excessive insertion of objects into one of the upper compartment and lower compartment of the at least one vertical compartment. In addition, the slide-out shelf is reversibly mountable at the intermediate position in the vertical direction of the at least one vertical compartment so as to present one of the first surface and the second surface as a lower surface of the upper compartment of the at least one vertical compartment.
