  • Publication number: 20200077933
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide apparatus, systems, and methods wherein pre-event and post-event analyte concentration readings associated with an event are collected and processed to determine a numerical delta. The numerical delta may be displayed on a visual display to aid in a ready determination of the affect that the event (alone or in combination with medication and/or insulin dosages) had on the analyte concentration levels. Medication and/or insulin dosages may be displayed alongside the numerical delta to gauge immediate relationships between numerical delta, dosage, and/or an associated event. Apparatus and systems for calculating and displaying the numerical delta are described, as are other aspects.

  • Patent number: 10542140
Abstract: The telecommunications system of the present disclosure is designed for modern edge scalability to support one-number unification of multiple voice communication devices registered through heterogenous pots, cellular, and VOIP/SIP providers. The system advantageously utilizes only voice or audio services and requiring device data or SMS capabilities for device security verification and call routing management. Within this framework, actual secured device requests for call routing have an overhead limited to approximately a few seconds. The telecommunication system allows a viable service to function well in saturated cellular environments and poor signal scenarios due to prioritization of voice-channels over data and SMS network packets on 2G, 3G, 4G, and next generation cellular technology.

  • Publication number: 20190158589
Abstract: Networking systems and methods for establishing and maintaining virtual computing clouds are disclosed. A networking system can comprise a server and various instances of a software agent, each agent being installed on a computing device participating in a virtual computing cloud. The server can maintain account setting for a user, wherein the settings can indicate which files on indicated computing devices are included in the virtual computing cloud. The networking system can selectively synchronize data between the computing devices automatically and in a secure manner, and can transmit data in real time to simulate local storage when synchronization of certain files is inappropriate in light of file incompatibility. As a result, the networking system can provide the user with a seamless, automatic system and method for accessing a total computing environment.

  • Patent number: 10223932
Abstract: A training device is disclosed. The training device may be a mannequin hand that has an artificial tip having a channel, and a first and a second hole leading into the channel. It has an artificial nail having a surface simulating a nail, and having a first and a second post extending away from the surface. The first post and the second post fit into the first hole and into the second hole, respectively, in a friction fit, and the first post and the second post extend into the channel. A bar slidably mounts in the channel. The bar has at least four surfaces, two shaped to not contact the first post or the second post, and two having an incline that contacts individual posts increasing pressure as the bar slides in a direction in the channel. The bar also includes a lever.

  • Patent number: 9152411
Abstract: An edge computing platform that provides on-demand delivery of Rich Internet Applications and other applications is disclosed. One embodiment includes an optional manager node and content distribution network (CDN) that include one or more compute nodes. The CDN collects information pertaining to execution of a software application. The CDN aggregates the information and transfers the aggregated information to the manager node. The manager node analyzes the information from the CDN and transfers results of the analysis to the CDN. The CDN receives a software application that is designed to be dynamically updated when executed at the clients. The CDN modifies the software application based on the information from the manager node. The CDN receives a request that pertains to the software application from a client device. The CDN transfers at least a portion of the modified software application to the client.
