Abstract: A system obtains and transmits and stores information, including location information of a potential economic event associated with visual information provided locally with respect to a geolocator. The system may contain at least: an article intimately associated with an electromagnetically interrogatable geolocator a hand-held information receiving and transmitting device that can interrogate the geolocator such as a chip; the chip containing communicable information relating to the article; a distal server in wireless two-way communication with the hand-held information receiving and transmitting device, the distal server capable of receiving, storing and transmitting information from the chip transmitted through the hand-held device. Upon interrogation of the chip by the hand-held device, the hand-held device communicates data received in response from the interrogation of the chip to the server, the server containing information transmitted to and receive by the hand-held device.

Abstract: Apparatus and a method create on-line obtainable coupons. The apparatus includes at least a first server enabling communication with a first class of third party on-line communicators. The first server receives proposed content on coupons from the first class of third party communicators, such as consumers, vendees and service users. The first server posts a list of proposed coupons, with or without modification of the proposed coupons after receipt from the first class of third-party on-line communicators. The server then enables access to the server to a second class of third party communicators. The server allows members of the second third party communicators to approve or disapprove of proposed coupons that are dedicated to business. This approval may be based on response in the form of voting, requests, a tally of positive and negative comments, or any other indicator that shows consumer interest in a proposed coupon.

Abstract: A sear for a shotgun trigger assembly is used to convert a pull trigger to a release trigger. The release trigger sear includes a second catch surface that holds the striker catch until the trigger is released. The sear having the second catch surface may be retrofit into an existing pull trigger assembly to convert the pull trigger assembly to a release trigger assembly without further modifications to the trigger assembly. The disclosure also provides a release trigger having an assembly that adjusts the pull and release weights of the trigger.

Abstract: Networking systems and methods for establishing and maintaining virtual computing clouds are disclosed. A networking system can comprise a server and various instances of a software agent, each agent being installed on a computing device participating in a virtual computing cloud. The server can maintain account setting for a user, wherein the settings can indicate which files on indicated computing devices are included in the virtual computing cloud. The networking system can selectively synchronize data between the computing devices automatically and in a secure manner, and can transmit data in real time to simulate local storage when synchronization of certain files is inappropriate in light of file incompatibility. As a result, the networking system can provide the user with a seamless, automatic system and method for accessing a total computing environment.

Abstract: An edge computing platform that provides on-demand delivery of Rich Internet Applications and other applications is disclosed. One embodiment includes an optional manager node and content distribution network (CDN) that include one or more compute nodes. The CDN collects information pertaining to execution of a software application. The CDN aggregates the information and transfers the aggregated information to the manager node. The manager node analyzes the information from the CDN and transfers results of the analysis to the CDN. The CDN receives a software application that is designed to be dynamically updated when executed at the clients. The CDN modifies the software application based on the information from the manager node. The CDN receives a request that pertains to the software application from a client device. The CDN transfers at least a portion of the modified software application to the client.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide apparatus, systems and methods wherein pre-event and post-event analyte concentration readings associated with an event are collected and processed to determine a numerical delta. The numerical delta may be displayed on a visual display to aid in a ready determination of the affect that the event (alone or in combination with medication and/or insulin dosages) had on the analyte concentration levels. Medication and/or insulin dosages may be displayed alongside the numerical delta to gauge immediate relationships between numerical delta, dosage and/or an associated event. Apparatus and systems for calculating and displaying the numerical delta are described, as are other aspects.

Abstract: An apparatus for attracting fish including at least one iridescent member forming an iridescent tail extending from the shank of a fish hook. The iridescent tail includes one or more layers of a translucent film. The layers have an elongated shape with a longitudinal fold. The forward end of the layers is folded over the shank of the hook and secured to the hook. In various embodiments, the iridescent tail includes one or more colored translucent layers, trailing ribbons, and/or a worm-shaped member. The outboard end of the iridescent tail is configured to be pointed or have a V-shape. In another embodiment, the layers have one or more slits parallel to the longitudinal fold.

Abstract: Disclosed is a secondary clutch lever device for any vehicle having a handlebar for steering and a primary clutch lever mounted the handlebar. The secondary clutch lever has an adjustment feature and is biased to return to a secondary neutral position allowing the primary clutch lever to return to a primary neutral position. An adjustment prevents the secondary clutch lever from returning to the secondary neutral position also preventing the primary clutch lever from returning to a primary neutral position thereby retaining tension on the clutch cable allowing a reduction in the coupling forces in a clutch assembly causing the clutch assembly to slip momentarily until rotational forces of the engine overcome the slippage fully engaging the clutch assembly thereby eliminating stalling during propulsion.

The remote integration provides integration of voice and data services, as well as a mechanized loop testing capability. Test signals may be provided via transport facilities from the serving switch to the remote terminal so that remote telephone loops can be tested and results passed to the metallic test bus unit of the serving switch.

Abstract: A generally cylindrical security door module is designed for retrofit into the passageway of an aircraft leading to the cockpit. Two doors, forward and aft, are provided which are mounted for opening and closing upon commands emanating from the cockpit. Both doors are normally closed and only one normally opens at a time. A candidate for entrance to the cockpit is permitted to enter the module when the cockpit personnel open the aft door, which is then closed. Sensing apparatus may be employed to establish the identity and clearance of the candidate. Upon approval, the cockpit personnel open the forward door to admit the candidate. Emergency release apparatus is also described.
