Abstract: A hot or cold beverage container with an integral stirring device and two separated shells to form a hollow space between them for better insulation. The outer shell of the stirring container comprises contiguous upper and lower sidewalls demarcated by a neck wherein the lower sidewall can fit into the beverage container orifice located in the passenger compartment of most, if not all, motor vehicles. The beverage container also has a handle and a power switch located on the handle for operating the stirring device, and provides an excellent vehicle for advertising whereby graphical or advertising material may be imprinted on its surfaces.

Abstract: An improved hand-held implement is provided with a body having external surfaces that define contours which match and ergonomically engage the surfaces of a user's thumb and fingers when the user grasps the implement, so as to provide a large surface area of contact between the user's hand and the implement. The increased area of contact between the user's hand and the implement, compared to traditional designs, decreases the required level of applied unit area pressure, and also provides for greater control consequently facilitating manipulation of the implement. The exterior of the implement is sufficiently small so that, while in use, the body of the implement does not extend outside or beyond the hand of the user. The cartridge includes a coaxial retention ring device which readily fits into the body of the implement by the resilient engagement of the ring into the coaxial recessed groove in the implement body.

Abstract: A flash drive incorporating a FM scanner radio, of which the circuitry is electrically isolated from each other and separately powered to reduce production cost and size. The flash drive-radio combination comprises a radio and a flash drive encased in a housing. The radio is configured only to search, receive, and convert to audio signals, radio signals that lies within only the broadcast FM bands, and the flash drive comprises a flash memory, a bidirectional communication port, a controller, and preferably, a display unit for displaying used and available memory in the flash memory. A write protect switch, a channel scan button, a digital clock may be further included in the present invention.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a conventional stapling device used as a vehicle for advertisement in which substantially all area of its two largest elongated outer surfaces is utilized for displaying advertising materials. The stapling device comprises two pivotally connected stapling legs, a staple carriage extended from one of the stapling legs, advertising materials on at least one of the outer surfaces, and thereupon, a protecting transparent layer substantially covering all of the outer surface. The advertising materials are imprinted: in one embodiment, on an advertising layer interposed between the transparent layer and the outer surface; in another, on either the top or bottom surface of the transparent layer; and in still another embodiment, directly on the outer surface of the stapler.

Abstract: A multi-office-function assembly incorporating commonly used desktop utilities such as a handheld calculator, a tape flag dispenser, letter opener, a note pad storage, a digital clock, a mirror, or a picture frame. The assembly includes a base housing, an input housing hingedly connected to an upper surface of the base housing to rotate between substantially flat and pop-up positions, an electric calculator having an input unit and electronic circuitry disposed preferably in the input housing, and a display unit disposed preferably in a top housing formed on the base housing. The assembly also includes a motorized letter opener disposed preferably in the top housing, a tape flag dispenser and a note pad storage disposed in the base housing, a digital clock, and a picture frame or a mirror disposed in the input housing.

Abstract: A multi-signal desktop digital displayer that can selectively display digital information generated from common digital utilities such as a clock, timer, alarm, or thermometer, one by one, upon detecting a motion nearby such as a user's hand waving via a motion sensor. The multi-signal displayer has a housing to encase the electric circuitry of those digital utilities, a display to display the digital signals, and a motion sensor disposed on the housing and emitting electromagnetic wave to define a motion field extending therefrom. The motion sensor is configured such that whenever it senses a motion within the motion field such as a waving hand, it generates an electrical signal for consecutively activating the digital signal generators, one by one, following a predetermined order, and thereby displaying a different digital signal generated therefrom on the display.

Abstract: A multi-signal desktop digital displayer that can selectively display digital signals created from digital utilities such as a clock, timer, alarm, or thermometer by rotating a large artistically designed disc. The multi-signal displayer has a housing to encase electric circuitry, a disc rotatably mounted on the front face of the housing and a display screen. The disc is configured to selectively activate different digital utilities one by one as it rotates by a preset degrees of an angle to display the digital signal generated therefrom one by one. In the preferred embodiment, the displayer is also configured to reverse the shades of display, for each digital signal, as the disk rotates, that is, from bright background to dark background and from dark image to bright image.

Abstract: A multi-function desktop photo frame configured to interchangeably display graphic images in either a conventional paper format or digital format, and incorporating some of widely used office functions. In the preferred embodiment, the photo frame includes an AM/FM radio and an LCD screen on which an alphanumeric message, inputted by a user via a message input unit, scrolls for effectively reminding the user of important messages. Further, the photo frame may include other common office electronics such as a digital clock and/or a thermometer.

Abstract: A calculator that is selectively attachable to an article attached to a user of the calculator is disclosed. The calculator has an oblong carabiner extending from its bottom end for attaching the calculator to the article. The attachment mechanism includes an oblong loop and an arm that is part of the loop. The arm is rotatably attached to the loop so that the loop can be opened and closed to permit attachment to the article. The arm is biased to the closed position. The attachment mechanism is disposed so as to permit the user to read symbols on input buttons and an output display in the right-side-up position, while the calculator is attached to the user.
