  • Patent number: 8612312
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for electronically managing items in a wish list. In some embodiments, order information associated with an order of one or more items may be received. The order may be associated with a purchasing customer, and may indicate that the purchasing customer is purchasing the one or more items of the order. One or more wish lists that were presented to the purchasing customer prior to receiving the order may be determined. For each of the one or more wish lists that were presented to the purchasing customer, it may be determined whether at least one of the items of the order is referenced in the wish list. • Patent number: 8497972
Abstract: An electronic display having one or more thermal plates in thermal communication with an image assembly and a thermally-conductive housing (and optional door frame). In some embodiments, the thermal plate is in thermal communication with the door frame which is in thermal communication with the housing. A channel may be defined between a transparent plate assembly and the image assembly where a fan may force cooling air through the channel. The cooling air may also pass through apertures in the thermal plate(s). An exemplary image assembly may provide an LED edge-lit LCD or an OLED display. In some embodiments, two displays may be provided in a back-to-back orientation within a single housing. The display may dissipate heat without the need to ingest ambient air.

  • Patent number: 8310824
Abstract: An electronic display which can be serviced without having to remove the display from its mounted position. A front housing and a rear housing are hingedly attached so that the front housing can rotate and allow access to the interior of the display. An axial force mechanism can be used to aid in rotating the front housing to an open position. A locking collar, support member, or axial locking member may be used to ensure that the front housing remains open. A removable front glass assembly or removable glass panel may be used with an exemplary embodiment. The front glass assembly or glass panel can be easily replaced if it becomes damaged by minimally-trained personnel. Gutters may be used between the front and rear housing as well as the front housing and front glass assembly to ensure an adequate seal against contaminates.

  • Patent number: 7885062
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a computer chassis with improved airflow to reduce the occurrence of trapped air pockets and increase heat transfer from components within the chassis. The computer chassis includes a plurality of chambers, wherein each of the chambers is separated by a partition. The partitions are operable to reduce the occurrence of trapped air pockets and increase heat transfer from components of the chassis by causing air to flow through each of the chambers. The computer chassis further includes at least two air vents, wherein each of the chambers is coupled to at least one of the at least two air vents through which air enters the chamber, and wherein each of the chambers is coupled to at least one of the at least two air vents through which air exits the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20080093781
Abstract: An improved exothermic cutting system is presented mounted upon a standard Alice pack frame reduced by three inches for additional comfort and safety to the wearer. A lightweight aluminum plate is welded to the Alice pack for stability while serving as a rigid platform upon which the cylinders, manifold, battery ignition and rod compartment is secured. The backpack design provides oxygen via an oxygen hose to the cutting torch. The design also provides a dual extruded electrical cable connected to a 12 volt battery at one end, and an igniter head at the other end, necessary to initiate the exothermic reaction. Overall, the improved backpack system allows for greater comfort and convenience. The improves system also protects the components from damage during deployment.

  • Patent number: 4916987
Abstract: A wrench that combines the narrow profile of an Open End with the adjustability of a large in profile Adjustable wrench and that meets the "Wrench Clearances for Open End Engineers Wrench 15.degree.", (from SAE Aeronautical Drafting Manual). The turnbuckle principle linked to wedge pins that move through crossing slots provide for parallel movement of two slidably connected wrench-halves. Actuation mechanism is shifted from the standard head location to the intermediate portion of the handle and the ends of the wrench are designed for turning two consecutive size ranges.

  • Patent number: 4903558
Abstract: Slip-joint pliers of the two-position jaw adjustment type and adjusted by a method of pivot pin through slots shifting in the inoperative positions of the pliers, and settings maintained by interference of opposing plier body elements and in which the pivot pin remains on the respective center lines of the tool in the operative positions resulting in a cooperative geometry for spring loading the plier handles and enabling the plier jaws to fully clamp as well as have the tool cut materials in both jaw adjusted positions, the spring loaded handles set, prior to initiated spring resistance, so that the cutting elements are lined up, ready to start cutting as an alternative to visual alignment only, of the cutters.
