The bleed valve module includes a pipe, a plurality of bleed valves connected to the pipe, and a plurality of pneumatic actuators connected to the bleed valves. The pneumatic valve controller includes a plurality of electrical control elements and a cooling shroud. The cooling shroud is attached to the pipe and at least partially surrounds the plurality of electrical control elements. The fan air duct connects the cooling shroud to the fan air plenum such that fan air flows through the cooling shroud to cool the plurality of electrical control elements.

The duct extends from and connects two different portions of the housing and includes a first port and a second port. The first port is attached to the first inlet of the housing. The second duct is attached to the second inlet of the housing. The bypass valve is inserted into one of the first port and second port of the duct. The plug is inserted into the other of the first port and second port that the bypass valve is not inserted into. Both the first port and the second port are capable of receiving and forming a sealing interface with both of the bypass valve and the plug.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly for an aircraft with an environmental control system includes first and second heat exchangers, a closure bar, and a drain manifold. The first heat exchanger is in fluid communication with a source of bleed air from the aircraft. The second heat exchanger has a second hot air circuit passing through the second heat exchanger and is disposed adjacent to and in fluid communication with the first heat exchanger. The closure bar is disposed between the first and second heat exchangers such that the closure bar prevents fluid communication across the closure bar between the first and second heat exchangers. The drain manifold is mounted to a sidewall of the heat exchanger assembly. A channel of the drain manifold is in fluid communication with a surface of the closure bar.
