  • Patent number: 8107957
Abstract: Tools and techniques for seamless enterprise and consumer mobility with multiple numbers are described. The techniques provide simultaneous ringing on a mobile communication device and manage network connections between the mobile communication device and at least two networks. The simultaneous rings are to at least one of a primary number associated with a mobile communication device and one or more identified numbers associated with the primary number. The simultaneous rings are based on a presence and/or physical location of the mobile communication device. The multiple numbers may have associated distinctive ring functions or tones. When the mobile communication device is proximate to the first network, a first detection signal is generated. A first presence signal indicates whether the condition of the connection permits an ongoing communication on the first network. The communication is handed over to a second network when the connection does not permit continuing on the first network.

  • Patent number: 7577590
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are disclosed for participating in an online ecosystem. This online ecosystem represents an interrelated community of merchants. When a merchant participates in this online community of merchants, each merchant shares sales information (such as a sales price and a sale quantity) with the online community. That is, each merchant is informed of each sale of every merchant participating in the community. Each merchant, then, knows the commercial activity of the entire ecosystem.

  • Publication number: 20080167943
Abstract: An exemplary advertising auction tool includes advertising data, detailed auction data such as pricing to bid on an advertisement time slot and desirable viewership characteristics and metrics, and business data for awarding the advertisement time slot and for distributing the advertisement. The auction tool receives near real-time viewership data about a viewer's selection and use of media content and matches the viewership data with the advertising data to identify one or more advertisements as desirable for distribution during the advertisement time slot. The auction tool then establishes a bid price for each of the matched advertisements. These bid prices are then automatically adjusted by the advertising auction tool based upon comparisons of the matched data for each advertisement and based upon the business data for each advertisement. Thereafter, the auction tool awards the advertisement time slot to maximize a contract price for the advertisement time slot.
