  • Patent number: 7210471
Abstract: A breather chamber is located in a blow-by gas passage to separate oil from blow-by gas. A partitioning member partitions the interior of the breather chamber into a plurality of spaces. The partitioning member is arranged such that the spaces extend along the flowing direction of the blow-by gas and that an adjacent pair of the spaces are connected at ends in the flowing direction. A separating member is provided in at least one of the spaces. The separating member obstructs the flow of the blow-by gas in the associated space, thereby separating oil from the blow-by gas. Therefore, oil is separated from the blow-by gas securely and is prevented from being brought out of the breather chamber.

  • Publication number: 20060294449
Abstract: A method of transferring data from a storage device transfers block data to a host computer, has a first data transfer processing of temporarily holding only actual data by excluding a check code from the block data, and transferring the actual data to the host computer; and a second data transfer processing of transferring data from the storage device to the host computer by controlling the actual data and the check code by segmenting the data for each address. Either the first data transfer processing or the second data transfer processing is selected according to a state of load on the storage device, and the data is transferred from the storage device to the host computer based on the selected data transfer processing.

  • Publication number: 20050239435
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of controlling flow between a base station controller and a base station in a wireless communication network. The base station controller, base station and a mobile station are provided with the same processing timing that is based upon the minimum receive interval of the mobile station. The base station controller sends and receives a data-transfer request frame and a data-transfer enable frame to and from the base station and performs flow control of data from the base station controller to the base station, and the base station transmits data to the mobile station at the processing timing.

  • Publication number: 20050197187
Abstract: A game image representing a part or all of an identical game space is displayed on game machines. A first game machine detects the link strength of wireless communication between the first game machine and a second game machine. The first game machine executes predetermined game processing such that a processing result changes depending on the detected link strength. Further, the first game machine updates the game image based on a result of the predetermined game processing. The first game machine sends game processing information indicating the result of the predetermined game processing, to the second game machine. The second game machine updates the game image based on the game processing information sent from the first game machine.

  • Publication number: 20050141477
Abstract: A packet transferring/transmitting method is provided for use in a mobile communication system 50. In this packet transferring/transmitting method, an upper node 1 determines the implementation of handover (determination step), and a handover addressing node 2 transfers, of a plurality of packets, a non-transmitted residual packet to a handover addressed node 3, and the upper node 1 transmits a new packet to the handover addressed node 3 (transfer/transmission step). This enables maintaining the number of users to be accommodated while securing a wide bandwidth, sharing a line with high efficiency at soft handover, avoiding data residual in the case of the employment of variable communication rate, and preventing an increase in retransmission.

  • Publication number: 20050122950
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a radio network control apparatus having inside a function block for processing a downlink shared channel and table means for storing various setting information related to the downlink shared channel communication and the downlink shared channel multi-cast communication. According to the information, a multi-cast communication (including uni-cast communication) is realized by using the downlink shared channel for one or more mobile apparatuses. Moreover, a base station has a function to transmit the downlink shared channel data and signaling data received from a radio network control apparatus, to a mobile apparatus via a radio line. Furthermore, it is possible to multi-cast data selectively to a particular mobile apparatus being call-connected.

  • Publication number: 20030214910
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a mobile communication network connected to a core network (CN) and a plurality of radio network nodes included in the mobile communication network (RAN). Network resources for a data flow between a data transmission node and a data reception node that passes through the CN and RAN are reserved on the basis of RSVP. A region for refreshing a reservation state of network resources concerning the flow is divided into a CN side and an RAN side by taking a predetermined radio network node through which the flow passes as a boundary. Refreshment on the RAN side is conducted with a frequency higher than that of refreshment on the CN side.
