  • Publication number: 20130126235
Abstract: A terminal assembly includes a wire including a core made of metal and covered with a coating, a terminal including a wire connecting portion connected to an end portion of the wire, a sealing resin sealing the wire connecting portion, and a housing including a through hole with a front opening and a rear opening. The terminal is made of a different kind of metal from the core of the wire. The housing accommodates the terminal in the through hole. The wire connecting portion includes an exposed portion not covered with the sealing resin and unexposed portions covered with the sealing resin. The exposed portion is positioned between the unexposed portions in a front and rear direction, thereby protecting the wire connecting portion from electrolytic corrosion. The exposed portion is obtained after the sealing resin is worn by being rubbed against an inner wall of the through hole.

  • Publication number: 20080193630
Abstract: A bean curd skin having improved flavor and texture is provided by allowing the flavor and texture of the bean curd skin to be modified. An liquid bean extract including as a principal component a germinated bean extract derived from a germination-treated bean as a raw material is heated to obtain the bean curd skin. It is preferred that the germination-treated bean be germinated to an extent where the bitterness of the bean curd skin is reduced, and where the germination percentage of the germination-treated bean is 10% to 100%. The weight ratio of ?-aminobutyric acid to isoflavone in the liquid bean extract is more preferably in the range of 10 to 100 and 250 to 100. It is also preferred that the liquid bean extract further contains a common bean extract that is derived from a germination-untreated bean not subjected to germination treatment as a raw material.

  • Patent number: 7231129
Abstract: An information reproduction apparatus which can perform repetitive reproduction is provided. In the apparatus, information recorded in an information storage medium is read. The read information is decoded. The decoded information is stored in a predetermined region of a storage device. During reproduction, information is sequentially read out and outputted in order of precedence at the time of writing the decoded information while the decoded information is stored in the predetermined region. When a start position of repetitive reproduction is designated, a repetition reproduction range is set. The repetition reproduction range is a range that would include the decoded information to be reproduced at one repetition reproduction. The decoded information is maintained in the repetition reproduction range.

  • Patent number: 7201615
Abstract: A connector has a housing (10) with cavities (11) for receiving terminal fittings (30). Locks (15B) are formed unitarily with the housing and are cantilevered into the cavities (11). Deformation spaces (21) are formed adjacent the lock (15B) to accommodate resilient deformation of the locks (15B). Each lock (15B) has a reinforcing ribs (18) facing into the deformation space (21). Additionally, a wall (41) of the deformation space (21) has an escaping portion (47) for accommodating the reinforcing rib (18). The reinforcing ribs (18) strengthen the locks (15B) and escaping portions (47) prevent enlargement of the housing (10).

  • Patent number: 7048582
Abstract: A female terminal fitting (20) has a main portion (21) that can be inserted into a cavity. An engaging portion (50) for engaging a lock (17) in the cavity is folded back from the front of the main portion (21). The fold (55) is rounded and contacts the lock (17) when the terminal fitting (20) is inserted into a cavity. Thus, resistance to insertion is low. The engaging portion (50) is distanced from an opposed surface (25) of the main portion (21) by an embossment (51). Thus, a large area of engagement with the lock (17) exists. A slanted surface (53) is formed at a corner of a locking surface (52) closer to the ceiling plate (25). Thus, the leading end of the lock (17) intrudes at the inner side of the slanted surface (53) to prevent the lock (17) from escaping.

  • Publication number: 20060068647
Abstract: Locks (15B) are provided with reinforcing ribs (18) to partly project from surfaces of the locks (15B) facing deformation spaces (21B), and escaping portions (47) for accommodating the reinforcing ribs (18) are formed at positions facing the locks (15B) in a surface of a wall (41) facing the deformation spaces (21). The rigidity of the locks (15B) is increased by the reinforcing ribs (18). Thus, the reliability of a function of retaining terminal fittings (30) is higher. Further, in the process of inserting the terminal fittings (30), the reinforcing ribs (18) are accommodated into the escaping portions (47) as the locks (15) are deformed. This can avoid the enlargement of a connector along the deforming direction of the locks resulting from the formation of the reinforcing ribs (18).

  • Patent number: 7011541
Abstract: A female housing (20) is provided with a lock arm (30) for holding a mating male connector (M) in a connected state. The lock arm (30) is comprised of an arm (31) extending along forward and backward directions and an actuator (32) extending along a width direction. The arm (31) is resiliently deformed with a support (33) as a supporting point and has a lock (34) engageable with the male connector (M). The arm (31) is displaced in unlocking direction by pressing the actuator (32). Two couplings (35) coupled to the female housing (20) are provided at opposite sides of the actuator (32). The couplings (35) are inclined up towards a widthwise middle (32a) of the actuator (32).

  • Patent number: 7008254
Abstract: A female housing (20) made of a synthetic resin is formed with cavities (22) for accommodating female terminal fittings (21), and locks (24) engageable with the female terminal fittings (21) to retain them are provided in the cavities (22). Each lock (24) projects from an outer surface (20a, 20b) of the female housing (20) during resilient deformation. A lock arm (40) for holding a mating male connector (M) in a connected state is mounted on the female housing (20). The lock arm (40) is made of metal and includes a press-in portion (42) that can be pressed into press-in grooves (30) of the female housing (20). The lock arm (40) is arranged to face the locks (240) and can be retracted into deformation spaces (330) for the locks (240) during the resilient deformation.

  • Publication number: 20050260883
Abstract: Male connectors (10) are accommodated in an ECU casing C, and connect with female connectors (20) connected with ends of wires (Wa). The male and female connectors (10, 20) are locked together by engaging a lock (45) on a lock arm (40) of the female connector (20) with an engaging portion (47) of the male connector (10). The fracture strength of the engaging portion (47) of the male connector (10) exceeds the fracture strength of the lock (45) of the female connector (20). Thus, an excessive force acting to separate the locked connectors (10, 20) will fracture the lock (45) of the female connector (20) first to cancel the locked state. This avoids fracturing the engaging portion (47) of the male connector (10).

  • Patent number: 6948986
Abstract: A housing (30) has cavities (31) for receiving terminal fittings (10), and a lock (33) is provided in each cavity (31). The terminal fitting (10) temporarily resiliently deforms the lock (33) when the terminal fitting (10) is inserted into the cavity (31). The lock (33) then is restored resiliently to engage the terminal fitting (10) when the terminal fitting (10) reaches a proper depth. An outer wall (17) of the terminal fitting (10) facing the lock (33) has a locking projection (27) projecting toward and engageable with the lock (33). A recess (54) is formed in a surface of the lock (33) that slides in contact with the locking projection (27) in an inserting process. An arcuate surface (29a) of the locking projection (27) and a bottom surface (54a) of the recess (54) have substantially conforming shapes.
