  • Patent number: 11881221
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed. A digitized human vocal expression of a user and digital images are received over a network from a remote device. The digitized human vocal expression is processed to determine characteristics of the human vocal expression, including: pitch, volume, rapidity, a magnitude spectrum identify, and/or pauses in speech. Digital images are received and processed to detect characteristics of the user face, including detecting if any of the following is present: a sagging lip, a crooked smile, uneven eyebrows, and/or facial droop. Using the human vocal expression characteristics and face characteristics, a determination is made as to what action is to be taken. A cepstrum pitch may be determined using an inverse Fourier transform of a logarithm of a spectrum of a human vocal expression signal. The volume may be determined using peak heights in a power spectrum of the human vocal expression.

  • Patent number: 11875241
Abstract: Aspect pre-selection techniques using machine learning are described. In one example, an artificial assistant system is configured to implement a chat bot. A user then engages in a first natural-language conversation. As part of this first natural-language conversation, a communication is generated by the chat bot to prompt the user to specify an aspect of a category that is a subject of a first natural-language conversation and user data is received in response. Data that describes this first natural-language conversation is used to train a model using machine learning. Data, is then be received by the chat bot as part of a second natural-language conversation. This data, from the second natural-language conversation, is processed using the model as part of machine learning to generate the second search query to include the aspect of the category automatically and without user intervention.

  • Publication number: 20240008821
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and classifying premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are discussed. An exemplary system includes a sensor circuit to sense a cardiac signal of a subject, and a processor circuit to detect heartbeats from the cardiac signal and detect a PVC under a first detection mode or a different second detection mode. The first detection mode includes identifying a PVC candidate of a particular type using cardiac intervals or signal amplitudes of the detected heartbeats, and classifying the identified PVC candidate as a PVC singleton or a pattern of multiple consecutive PVCs using signal features including morphology features of the sensed cardiac signal. The second detection mode includes detecting PVC of the particular type using the cardiac intervals or the signal amplitudes of the detected heartbeats. The first detection mode can be transitioned to the second detection mode in response to a mode-switching trigger event.

Abstract: A metering pump for a medical injector includes a housing, a sleeve at least partially received within the housing, a piston at least partially received within the sleeve, and an interlock. The piston has a first position where the chamber has a first volume and a second position where the chamber has a second volume, with the first volume larger than the second volume. The sleeve has a first rotational position where an inlet is in fluid communication with the chamber, a second rotational position where an outlet is in fluid communication with the chamber, and a third rotational position where the inlet and outlet are isolated from the chamber. The interlock includes an elastomeric member and a protrusion, where engagement between the elastomeric member and the protrusion is configured to restrict movement of the sleeve until the sleeve overcomes a predetermined torque value.

  • Patent number: 11860861
Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that grows and/or shrinks a table that is shared between a writer and a plurality of readers is described. In an exemplary embodiment, a device receives an entry to be added to the shared table. In response to receiving the entry, the device remaps shared table to add a new storage segment to the shared table. The device further adds the entry to the shared table, where the entry is stored in the new storage segment. In addition, the device updates a shared table characteristic to indicate that the shared table has changed. The device further shrinks the shared table by remapping the table to remove a segment of the table.

  • Patent number: 11855849
Abstract: At a rule processing unit of an evolving, self-organized machine learning-based resource management service, a rule of a first rule set is applied to a value of a first collected metric, resulting in the initiation of a first corrective action. A set of metadata indicating the metric value and the corrective action is transmitted to a repository, and is used as part of an input data set for a machine learning model trained to generate rule modification recommendations. In response to determining that the corrective actions did not meet a success criterion, an escalation message is transmitted to another rule processing unit.

  • Patent number: 11843600
Abstract: An IoT hub comprising one or more servers and databases is configured to automatically assign Internet of Things (IoT) enabled devices to IoT solutions based on a subnet to which the IoT devices are connected. A user interface is configured to enable a user to define subnets within the customer's network environment and assign each subnet to an IoT solution. Upon the user setting up an IoT device's network connection to a network device, such as a router, the IoT device transmits its network information to the IoT hub. The IoT hub can then automatically assign the IoT device to a specific IoT solution without further user input or predict which IoT solution to utilize for that IoT device based on known parameters.
