    Abstract: A seamless, single layer, multi-yarn glove or glove liner is disclosed. The glove or glove liner includes a first type of yarn and a second type of yarn that is different from the first type of yarn. The glove or glove liner has a single layer that includes the first type of yarn and the second type of yarn knitted together to form a hand-like structure that includes a thumb section, a plurality of finger sections and a palm section. The first type of yarn is different that the second type of yarn. For example, the first type of yarn may be a cut resistant yarn and the second type of yarn may be an inexpensive elastic yarn such as Spandex. An optional cuff is part of the single layer, the cuff optionally comprising a tab to aid in donning and doffing. The glove can further comprise a tab with indicia, where the indicia can be, for example, shape or color to convey information about the glove such as size or cut resistant properties. Padded protection on the knuckles can also be provided.

In other embodiments, the structure includes at least one deep trench capacitor and a metal layer in electrical communication with the at least one deep trench capacitor. The at least one deep trench capacitor has a shallow trench isolation region, a doped region, an inner electrode, and a dielectric between the doped region and the inner electrode. The dielectric has an upper edge that terminates at a lower surface of the shallow trench isolation region.

    Abstract: A lightweight thin flexible latex glove article having a polymeric latex coating that penetrates the front portion of a knitted liner half way or more through the liner thickness and for at least a portion of the knitted liner, not penetrating the entire thickness. For example, the liner can be knitted using an 18-gauge needle with 70 to 221 denier nylon 66 multi-filament yarn. The polymer latex coating can be 0.75 to 1.25 times the thickness of the knitted liner. Over 30% reduction of glove thickness is achieved resulting in three times greater flexibility. The polymer latex coating may be foamed with 5 to 50 vol % air content. Open celled foamed latex coating may be coated with a dispersion of fluorochemical dispersion to prevent liquid permeation into the glove. The process can include steps to gel the latex emulsion at interstices of the yarn to prevent further penetration of the emulsion into the liner.

    Abstract: A deep trench varactor structure compatible with a deep trench capacitor structure and methods of manufacturing the same are provided. A buried plate layer is formed on a second deep trench, while the first trench is protected from formation of any buried plate layer. The inside of the deep trenches is filled with a conductive material to form inner electrodes. At least one doped well is formed outside and abutting portions of the first deep trench and constitutes at least one outer varactor electrode. Multiple doped wells may be connected in parallel to provide a varactor having complex voltage dependency of capacitance. The buried plate layer and another doped well connected thereto constitute an outer electrode of a linear capacitor formed on the second deep trench.

The surface of the laptop slot (4) is lined with non-slip surface (3) to ease insertion and control of the laptop (42) as it is lowered into the slot (4). An adjustable front cover (15) defining the front boundary of the slot (4) covers the keyboard of the mobile computer (42) so that the user does not need to view two keyboards, and the appearance of the docked laptop (42) is clean and aesthetic. Wireless data and power transmission into the laptop (42) is provided while the laptop (42) is in the slot (4) so that the laptop (42) can be used in the docking station without a need for cable connections (45, 46) at all.

In an exemplary embodiment, the housing can be pivotally mounted to the base using a ball and socket joint. For example, at least one of a distal surface of the housing and a proximal surface of the base is convex, and the other one of the distal surface of the housing and the proximal surface of the base is concave.

    Abstract: A universal mounting mechanism for holding objects, such as electrical, medical, optical or audio/visual components needing secure physical connection to another surface in such a way that the mounted object can be easily and quickly installed and removed. It locks the object by providing surfaces on three planes that firmly engage the object so it does not move during transportation or when mounted on a fixed surface. It is low in profile so it does not obstruct the use of the items being held. The mount has no loose parts that can be lost during installation or removal of the mounted objects. Furthermore, the mount has the added feature of locking into either the open or closed position. Because the range of motion is limited, the top of the mount will not move into a position where it could be damaged or obstruct the use of adjacently mounted items.
