  • Patent number: 11041733
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes capturing an original image. In the original image, a plurality of potential pickup locations are identified. Each potential pickup location of the plurality of potential pickup locations is associated with a respective metadata set of a plurality of metadata sets. An annotated image is generated based on the original image, where the annotated image indicates the plurality of potential pickup locations and the respective metadata set associated with each potential pickup location. A selection of a pickup location, from among the plurality of potential pickup locations, is received. The pickup location is transmitted to a remote server to facilitate a ride beginning at the pickup location.

  • Publication number: 20210131820
Abstract: A method for route management based on geolocation based clustering includes receiving data collected from a plurality of vehicles for a plurality of clusters. The method generates an initial set of rules for the plurality of vehicles operating in each cluster from the plurality of clusters based on the data collected from the plurality of vehicles. The method determines a first cluster out of the plurality of cluster based on a geolocation of a first vehicle traveling along a route. Responsive to identifying a set of cluster specific rules for the first cluster, the method determines a first hardware requirement out of the plurality of hardware requirements defined by the set of cluster specific rules is not present on the vehicle. The method identifies an alternative cluster based on the first hardware requirement being absent and instructs the vehicle to travel to the alternative cluster.

  • Publication number: 20210090100
Abstract: A player device is associated with a human player, the player associated with a human customer. A boundary is defined, defining a geographic restriction of the player device with respect to a geographic location of the customer. Using a customer movement prediction model, a path of the customer is predicted. The boundary is adjusted corresponding to the predicted path of the customer. Within a augmented reality application presenting information using the player device, a geographic location of an augmented reality item within the augmented reality application is caused to be adjusted, the augmented reality item presented at the adjusted geographic location, the adjusted geographic location determined so as to persuade the human player to remain within the adjusted boundary.

  • Patent number: 10949512
Abstract: During a password entry, a matrix is traversed to select a position. The matrix includes several levels, each level in the several levels including at least one position where data can be entered, where a second level in the matrix forms a sub-level of a first level, and where the second level is reachable only from a particular position in the first level. In response to an input, a mode of the selected position is changed such that the position becomes unchangeable and unselectable during a remainder of the password entry. The selected position is encoded in an auth-step. In response to an indication of an end of the password entry, an auth-code is transmitted. The auth-code includes a set of auth-steps, and the set of auth-steps includes the auth-step.

  • Patent number: 10948578
Abstract: Distinguishing between holographic and physical objects in an environment. Determining whether an object is holographic or physical begins with monitoring locating objects within an environment. When locating an object within the environment, an object can be identified as physical by detecting a shadow cast by the object, detecting a reflection of the electromagnetic (EM) wave directed at the object, and by detecting a reflection of a sound wave directed at the object. Otherwise, when locating an object within the environment, an object is identified as holographic as a result of the object not casting a shadow, not receiving a reflection of the EM wave from the object, and not receiving a reflection of the sound wave from the object. In one or more embodiments, actions upon a particular object can be determined based on whether the object is physical or holographic.

  • Patent number: 10928774
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for representing a transfer of a digital object using holographic images. User input is received that is indicative of a selection of the digital object for transfer from a sending device to a receiving device. Spatial attribute data is generated based at least in part on at least one of a distance or a relative orientation between the sending device and the receiving device, and a transition path is determined based at least in part on the spatial attribute data. Holographic image data is then generated based at least in part on the transition path, and the holographic image data is sent to one or more holographic projectors to cause a first holographic image representative of the digital object and a second holographic image representative of the transition path to be projected.

Abstract: A method managing a generated route for multiple modes of transportation includes displaying guidance for a generated route based on a travel itinerary between an origin location and a destination location, wherein the generated route includes at least one mode of transportation alteration. The method receives user data associated with a user traveling at a specific point along the generated route. The method generates a confidence score for the user traveling along generated route based on the received user data. Responsive to determining the confidence score is below a confidence level threshold, the method modifies the generated route based on an analysis of the generated route at the specific point, wherein the modified route causes the confidence score to increase above the confidence level threshold. The method displays guidance for the modified route.
