The device includes a machine translation engine having a morphological/syntactic analyzer for analyzing morphemes and sentences of an original text and generating original text analysis information, and a translation generator for generating a translation and translation generation information on the basis of the original text analysis information, and a user interface module for displaying sentence structures of the original text and the translation, and a relationship between the original text and the translation to a user on the basis of the original text analysis information and the translation generation information, and for receiving corrections to the original text or the translation from the user. The device and method provide a user interface whereby the user can effectively recognize and correct a mistranslated part and a cause of the mistranslation, and rapidly provides a re-translated result according to the correction.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a Korean-English hybrid automatic translation method for providing translation from Korean to English, includes: performing a morpheme analysis and a syntactic analysis on a Korean input source text; segmenting the Korean input source text into at least two source text segments, based on the results of the morpheme analysis and the syntactic analysis; and generating a PBMT (pattern-based machine translation) translated text segment and a SMT (statistical machine translation) translated text segment with respect to each of the source text segments. Further, the method includes determining, as final translation result, one of the PBMT translated text segment and the SMT translated text segment with respect to each source text segment, based on predetermined weight information; and composing the translated text segments with respect to the source text segments of the Korean input source text into one English translated text by using the determined final translation results.

    Abstract: Disclosed is the operation method for a towel-washing course in a washing machine, in which the towel is dehydrated at the spin speed of 900 rpm and 1100 rpm, which is greater than the spin speed (800 rpm) of the drum in the main dehydration process for general laundry, a water level of 22 kHz or 23 kHz, higher than a water level (23.2 kHz) for the general laundry, is supplied to the towel, the towel has a rinse time of 8 or 12 minutes, which is longer than that of 4 minutes for the general laundry, and rinse temperature for the towel is in the range of 50° C.˜60° C., relatively higher than that of 40° C. used to rinse the general laundry. Further, the rinse process having the remaining water removal process is performed between the main dehydration and the water supply, thereby removing detergent solution with a certain concentration from the inside of the washing machine after completing the main dehydration process.

According to the invention, a source-language sentence and a target-language sentence are converted by receiving the source-language sentence and the target-language sentence corresponding to the source-language sentence and attaching a prototype, a part-of-speech, relative position information, and syntactic information in a base phrase to each morpheme of the source-language sentence and the target-language sentence. Then, word alignment and syntactic alignment are performed in the converted source-language sentence and target-language sentence, thereby extracting translation knowledge on words and syntaxes, translation knowledge on a subcategory of a bilingual inflected-word, and translation knowledge on a bilingual sentence pattern based on the results of the word and syntactic alignment.
