    Abstract: A cell self-assembly array chip comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a plurality of spacer elements. The first substrate, the spacer elements and the second substrate are stacked to be one in turn, wherein the spacer elements are annularly arranged at interval and disposed on the second substrate, so as to define a cell self-assembly region and at least one drawing channel. Furthermore, because the liquid portion of cell suspension horizontally and radially passed the drawing channel outward and the radially outward pulling force generated by the evaporation effect of the liquid portion, so as to cause the cells are arranged by the cell self-assembly array to the cell self-assembly region. The present invention further provides a manufacturing method of a cell self-assembly array chip to solve the conventional problems which is difficult to culture living cells and not easy to apply optical observation.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method of nano-scale platinum (Pt) using an open-loop reduction system. The preparation method comprises the steps of: utilizing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as a catalyst support; mixing platinum salt with a reducing agent and deionized water to form a precursor solution in a flask; heating the precursor solution in the flask at a predetermined temperature range to reduce nano-scale platinum nanoparticles on the carbon nanotubes by the process of water evaporation; allowing the water vapor to flow through a connection tube to a condenser; filling a cooling substance into the condenser via the first opening and draining the cooling substance from the condenser via the second opening to lower the temperature of the water vapor in the inner tube by the cooling substance and condense the water vapor into liquid water, which is collected with a beaker placed under the condenser.

    Abstract: A single molecule detection platform is disclosed. The single molecule detection platform comprises a light-transmissive substrate, a plurality of spherical particles and a thin film. The surface of the light-transmissive substrate is etched to form a plurality of cone-shaped structures. Each spherical particle is disposed on top of each cone-shaped structure. The sizes of the plurality of spherical particles are suitable to allow only a single protein to be attached to each spherical particle. The thin film is deposited on the surface of the plurality of cone-shaped structures and acts as a reflective layer of one-dimensional waveguide.     Abstract: The present invention discloses a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, a PCR droplet device and a PCR droplet device array. The steps of the method comprise that a liquid comprising an analyzer is dropped on the heating coil disposed on the droplet device to form a droplet, then dropping a hydrophobic solution to prevent the droplet from evaporating. When an electric current or a voltage is supplied through at least one conducting wire to heat the heating coil, the inside of the droplet can generate buoyancy to drive the analyzer to move to the top of the inside of the droplet. Subsequently, the analyzer is moved to a periphery of the inside of the droplet so as to form a thermal cycle. Therefore the template is amplified by recycling the thermal cycle.

That is, the liquid storage space has no individual chambers. The droplet-ejecting layer has a plurality of through holes arranged in an array, and each through hole is used as a nozzle for pushing out ink. The plurality of bubble generators is disposed above the substrate, and corresponds to and is disposed under the through holes. The bubble generators on two sides of a designated bubble generator generate at least one limit bubble, limiting the growth of a main bubble generated by the designated bubble generator.

    Abstract: An efficient and passive micro fuel cell includes an anode plate, a reaction plate, a cathode plate and a condensation plate. The anode plate draws a dilute solution of methanol from a fuel tank to delivery to a series of upper oxidation reaction room through micro-channels by thermal capillarity. The condensation plate separates carbon dioxide and vapor from each other. Meanwhile, the methanol solution is delivered to a plurality of lower oxidation reaction rooms. Protons pass through the inner walls of the reaction holes and a porous membrane layer and arrive in the lower reduction reaction rooms. The lower reduction reaction rooms and the lower oxidation reaction rooms have reaction holes whose inner walls have carbon nanotubes and catalysts. A plurality of upper reduction reaction rooms delivers oxygen for the reduction reaction and drains the reduced water at the same time.
