  • Publication number: 20180302596
Abstract: An electronic device which can physically move according to vocal instructions includes a control device, a voice device, and a driving device. The control device responds to user instructions. The voice device is used for performing voice interaction between the electronic device and a user. The driving device drives the electronic device to move. When the voice device receives a voice instruction from the user, the control device recognizes the voice instruction. If a voice instruction includes a destination position, the control device recognizes same and transmits a moving control instruction to the driving device, the driving device drives the electronic device to move to that destination position.

  • Publication number: 20180182095
Abstract: Provided is a heart rate activity detecting method based on dynamic images. The method includes tracking a moving object. Preset brightness is determined based on an ambient condition. An image of the moving object is captured to generate a corresponding RGB color space, which is then converted to an image color space with adjustable brightness. The brightness of the image color space is adjusted according to the preset brightness to generate an image with corrected brightness, which is then converted to a RGB color space with the corrected brightness for calculating a heart rate activity of the moving object. The disclosure is capable of addressing the issue of an unstable light source by adjusting the brightness of the dynamic images, and then calculating the heart rate activity of the moving object according to the dynamic images. A heart rate activity detecting system based on dynamic images is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9864131
Abstract: Application of non-uniform strain to discrete segments of a fiber grating mechanically changes the structure type of the associated device, e.g., the refractive index perturbation profile of the fiber grating is changed from uniform to phase shifted superstructured, or from chirped to superstructured. The strain may be applied with one or more deformable corrugated slides which are bonded to the fiber grating between the discrete segments. The applied strain changes the local period of fiber grating. Complex changes may be achieved via variations of corrugated slide dimensions. An LPFG may be provided with bare fiber by applying periodically longitudinal axial strain to fiber at multiple discrete segments on the fiber.

  • Patent number: 9706479
Abstract: A wireless device may receive a BA-list from a wireless service provider. Before removing any cell frequencies already stored in the wireless device, the wireless device may determine if the BA-list is complete. If the BA-list is not complete, the cell frequencies already stored in the wireless device may be retained, and the cell frequencies received in the BA-list may be added to the storage. However, if the BA-list is complete, the cell frequencies already stored in the wireless device may be removed if they are not in the BA-list.
