The retainer may include a pin end retained to the inner surface of the anchor body and the nut may include a threaded outer surface so that rotating the nut within the anchor body advances the retaining collar and thereby tensions the barrier cable.

    Abstract: A wedge assembly for post tensioning concrete includes one or more wedges and a wedge ring. Each wedge includes an outer surface having a circumferential groove formed thereon. The wedge ring is adapted to fit into the groove of the wedges and retain the wedges to a strand. The wedge ring including a gap adapted to allow the wedge ring to be installed from the side of the wedges. When installed to the strand, the wedges may form a clearance fit maintained by the wedge ring. At least one wedge may include a guide adapted to assist with the separation of the wedges when installed to the strand.

    Abstract: A sheathing puller for use in a concrete post-tensioning system that includes at least one anchor assembly and a tension member comprising a cable and a sheath surrounding the cable, comprises a stationary coupler, a force applicator mechanically coupled to the stationary coupler, and a sheathing gripper mechanically coupled to the force applicator and configured to grip the sheath. Actuation of the force applicator may cause the sheathing gripper to grip the sheath and apply a longitudinal force thereto. The sheathing stationary coupler may be configured to engage the at least one anchor and the force applicator may be a pulley, screw, ratchet, bar clamp, pipe clamp, or screw clamp. Also disclosed is a method for mechanically coupling the stationary coupler to a fixed object, mechanically coupling the sheathing gripper to the sheath, and sliding the sheath along the tension member using the sheathing puller.
