    Abstract: A secondary fuel metering control system for a normally solenoid valve controlled spill-inject-spill type engine driven fuel injection pump includes an isolation valve to control spill flow from the pump chamber of the pump back to the fuel reservoir, a pivotal metering valve operative to meter fuel flow to the pump chamber, and an actuator means including an operator actuated accelerator means and an electrical actuator for controlling pivotal movement of the metering valve.
