  • Patent number: 10654180
Abstract: A folding knife can include a handle portion, a pivot element, a blade, a locking element, a cap, and a rotatable wheel. The handle portion can comprise a first side portion and a second side portion. The blade can pivot about the pivot element between an open position and a closed position. The locking element can prevent disassembly of the first and second side portions when the locking element is in a locked position and allow disassembly of the first and second side portions when the locking element is in an unlocked position. The cap can be coupled to the first side portion adjacent the locking element. The pivot element can extend into the cap. The rotatable wheel can be disposed between the first and second side portions and can rotated to selectively retain the first and second side portions together.

  • Publication number: 20200042609
Abstract: Methods and systems for searching directory access groups are disclosed. A set of groups associated with a logon user is determined. The set of groups is partitioned into one or more disjoint subsets, wherein each of the disjoint subsets is represented by a data representation including a root node and one or more intermediate nodes. For each of the disjoint subsets, the disjoint subset is path compressed to flatten a structure of the data representation representing the disjoint subset. The data representation is cached to a database cache.

  • Publication number: 20200042641
Abstract: A distributed search framework with virtual indexing is disclosed. According to some embodiments, a virtual index that includes a first physical index is created, where the first physical index includes a first number of shards. A request to index a document is received. In response to the request, whether the first physical index has reached a capacity threshold is determined. In response to determining that the first physical index has reached the capacity threshold, a second physical index is automatically created and added to the virtual index, where the second physical index includes a second number of shards. The document is added into the second physical index.

  • Publication number: 20190202073
Abstract: A folding knife includes a blade, first and second handle portions, a post, and an engaging plate. The post extends from the first handle portion. The blade is pivotable relative to the handle portions about a pivot axis between open and closed positions. The engaging plate is coupled to the second handle portion and is movable relative to the second handle portion between first and second positions. In the first position, the engaging plate engages the post, thereby restricting relative movement between the first and second handle portions in a direction parallel to the pivot axis and retaining the blade between the first and second handle portions. In the second position, the engaging plate disengages the post, thereby allowing relative movement between the first and second handle portions in the direction parallel to the pivot axis and allowing the blade to be separated from the first and second handle portions.

  • Patent number: 10330783
Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and apparatuses for location service offload for Bluetooth positioning. In some aspects a Bluetooth radio frequency (RF) signal is sampled by a Bluetooth transceiver to produce a set of samples corresponding to an advertisement packet and the set of samples are stored in a shared memory. Another transceiver is signaled that the set of samples are stored in the shared memory, causing the other transceiver to generate the Angle of Arrival (AoA) of the Bluetooth RF signal. A signal is received from the other transceiver indicating that the generated AoA is available in the shared memory. The generated AoA is read from the shared memory by the Bluetooth transceiver and sent to a host processor. By so doing, data transfer between the Bluetooth transceiver and the host processor is reduced, as well as, reducing the computational load on the host processor.

  • Patent number: 10226871
Abstract: A folding knife configured for rapid assembly and disassembly includes a blade and first and second handle portions. The first handle portion includes two engaging posts on the inner side, and the second handle portion has two engaging holes in the inner side. The engaging posts can extend respectively into the engaging holes so that the two handle portions form a complete handle. An engaging plate is provided in the handle and connected to a switch in the second handle portion. When the switch is pushed in one direction, the engaging plate engages with the engaging posts to prevent the engaging posts from disengaging from the engaging holes. Once the switch is pushed in the opposite direction, the engaging plate disengages from the engaging posts to allow the engaging posts to disengage from the engaging holes. The switch thus enables rapid assembly and disassembly of the folding knife.

  • Patent number: 10172180
Abstract: A first network interface and a second network interface of a wireless network device are respectively controlled to operate as a station in a first wireless network and as an access point in a second wireless network. A beacon message, which includes a first signal strength of a first bridge node that is an access point in the first wireless network, is transmitted through the second network interface. A probe response message, which includes a second signal strength of a second bridge node that is an access point in a third wireless network, is received at the second network interface. Conditioned on determining that the second signal strength is greater than the first signal strength, the first network interface is disconnected from the first bridge node and is connected to the second bridge node to operate as a station in the third wireless network.

  • Patent number: 10051688
Abstract: A wireless network bridge controls a first network interface to operate as a first station in a first wireless network, and controls a second network interface to operate as an access point in a second wireless network. The bridge controls a bridge table that includes an entry associating one or more network addresses of a second station with the second network interface. The second station is accessible through the second network interface operating as an access point. The bridge receives a packet for communication between the second station and a network device in the first wireless network; examines the packet to find one or more network addresses included in the packet; associates the packet with the second station by performing a lookup of the bridge table; and communicates packet information with the second station through the second network interface, and with the network device through the first network interface.

  • Patent number: 9426745
Abstract: A filter expression is received at a wireless device assembly of a communication device. While a host assembly of the communication device is in a sleep mode, the wireless device assembly receives a signal having packet data, and determines whether the packet data contains a data pattern indicated by the filter expression. If the packet data contains the data pattern, the wireless device assembly communicates a wakeup signal to the host assembly for changing the host assembly from the sleep mode to an active mode. If the packet data does not contain the data pattern, the wireless device assembly does not communicate the wakeup signal to the host assembly.
