Abstract: The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for the decontamination of fluid, particularly the removal of heavy metals and/or arsenic and/or their compounds from water, by means of electrocoagulation followed by adsorption, wherein the water to be purified subjected to electrodes of different polarities. The invention can include means for control of the pH of the fluid. The invention can also include control systems that allow self-cleaning of electrodes, self-cleaning of filters, and automatic monitoring of maintenance conditions.

The tool comprises a script which parses a log file containing any number of timing violation reports from a simulation of a layout design. The tool filters, consolidates, and sorts the timing violations and presents the foregoing in a report of consolidated timing violations. The report of consolidated timing violations can then be analyzed by a verification engineer.

The method comprises transmitting or receiving a signal by a station in the ad hoc wireless network during a beacon interval. The station enters a power saving doze state immediately following the transmission or reception of the signal and prior to the end of the beacon interval. Additionally or alternatively, the station may enter power saving doze state following a timed period, according to a counter, or according to a periodic pattern.

Abstract: A wireless network software access point (AP) integrated into a wireless device allows a wireless network to be configured automatically and dynamically maintained with minimal user intervention. Such automatic configuration includes: whether to configure the Soft AP enabled device to be an AP Node or a Station Node; specifics of wireless radio link configuration, routing or bridging relationships with other networking devices attached to the host-computing device; and firewall configuration. Such automatic configurations are based on the automatic detection of the network environment attached to the Soft AP enabled device. The automatic configurations may also be based on the intelligent interactions among different Soft AP enabled devices in the wireless network, which often includes devices with and without Soft AP functionalities.

The system uses multiple redundant servers steaming the exactly same data to a failover device. The failover device buffers the steams into a primary and secondary data stream and automatically switches from the primary to the secondary data stream if it detects a corruption in the primary data stream. Since the buffered data packets of the two steams are identical and are synchronized, there is not outage for multicast receivers when the primary data source fails since there is a switch to exactly the same data in the next packet of the secondary data stream.

Abstract: A method is used for making disposable trays and bowls with organic materials or herbaceous plants that can be easily disintegrated and that has low economical value. The organic materials include straws, bagasses or forage grasses etc., which are cheap and can be easily obtained. The manufacturing costs of the trays and bowls are thus competitive in price and suitable for producing disposable trays and bowls for containing food. No waste water and gas will be produced such that the method meets the requirement of environmental protection.

Abstract: A process and product produced thereby which involves subjecting an egg white product to turbulent flow at an elevated temperature not to exceed 162.degree. F. for a period of time not to exceed one minute followed by immediate rapid cooling to a temperature of from 25.degree. F. to 40.degree. F. to improve refrigerated shelf life. The chilled product is then filled and sealed in sterilized containers under aseptic or near sterile conditions. The refrigerated shelf life may be enhanced by freezing the packaged product for a finite period of time prior to placing it in refrigerated storage.
