  • Publication number: 20230400388
Abstract: A tire defect detection system for detecting defects in a tire. The system includes at least one infrared camera, a pneumatic source and a computing device. The pneumatic source inflates the tire to a predetermined pressure. After inflation, the infrared camera captures a reference frame of a section of the tire. A period of time after capturing the reference frame, the infrared camera captures a subsequent frame. The subsequent frame is compared to the reference frame to detect a portion of the section of the tire that has a lower temperature. The lower temperature is caused by an escape of air from the tire through a defect. The escaping air cools the area of the tire around the defect, so a decrease in temperature indicates the defect.

  • Publication number: 20230318367
Abstract: Motors for use in downhole systems such as electric submersible pumps. In one embodiment, an ESP system includes a pump and a motor which drives the pump. The motor has an elongated cylindrical stator and a rotor which is concentrically positioned within a bore through the stator. The rotor is driven by the stator to rotate within the bore. The stator comprises a plurality of separable, interconnected modular stator sections which may be identical. Between each pair of adjacent stator sections, a corresponding interconnect electrically connects coils of magnet wire in the stator sections to a power source. In some cases, the interconnect between stator sections electrically connects the coils of magnet wire serially in the adjacent stator sections. In other embodiments, the coils in adjacent stator sections are connected in parallel the power source.

  • Publication number: 20230222198
Abstract: A system and method for confirming the identity of a user seeking access to a protected account or physical place by using the sequenced selection of one or more colors from one or more panels and/or palettes of color that are presented visually to the user seeking access. An identification key is built based on the hidden unique identifiers assigned for each said color selected by the user and the sequence in which the colors were selected by the user. Each color displayed has an assigned unique identifier that is not visible to the user seeking access but is used by a first software programing operating on the uses device to assemble the identification key required to gain account access.

  • Patent number: 11577108
Abstract: An automatic fire protection sprinkler assembly for fire protection systems that includes a tubular outer housing having an inlet, an outlet opening and an internal shelf proximate the outlet opening. A fluid deflection member is spaced from the outlet opening along a fluid flow path of the assembly. A fluid control assembly is disposed within the outer housing for axial translation from an unactuated state to an actuated state of the sprinkler assembly. The fluid control assembly includes a seal subassembly, a fluid flow tube; and an ejectable support subassembly. The support subassembly includes a projection member. Upon actuation of a thermally responsive trigger, the support subassembly is ejected out the outlet opening such that the projection member comes into contact with the internal shelf of the housing to pivot the support subassembly out of the fluid flow path.
