  • Patent number: 11314688
Abstract: A service system provides users with access to online services. As part of providing the services to users, the service system stores data for users in a data storage system. When the service system receives a request from an administrator of the system for user data stored in the data storage system, the service system identifies the data requested by the administrator. The service system also determines policies that apply to the data. The determined policies indicate transformations that are to be performed on the data to protect the privacy of the users. The service system transforms the user data as indicated by the policies and provides the transformed user data to the administrator.

  • Publication number: 20210295327
Abstract: This invention discloses a system and methods for defeating a so-called man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. An electronic instruction to collect specified distinctive identifiers from a local/mobile computing device seeking access to a first network website, is generated by said first network website and that electronic instruction is assigned a unique onetime identification token. Said electronic instruction with said unique onetime identification token is transmitted by said first network website to said local/mobile computing device. Said unique onetime identification token is also maintained in a database of unique onetime identification tokens resident on said first network website. In addition, said unique onetime identification token is sent to a secondary network website, where it is also stored in a database of unique onetime identification tokens. Said unique onetime identification token may also contain a time expiration value which defines the validity period for said unique transaction identifier.

  • Publication number: 20210184603
Abstract: A system for the resilience of an electric submersible pumping system to a transient power interruption includes a power backup connected to the variable speed drive of the pumping system. A method for controlling the electric submersible pump during the transient power interruption includes connecting a variable speed drive to a power source, charging one or more rechargeable batteries within the power backup, and connecting the power backup to the variable speed drive. The method continues with the steps of operating the motor with the variable speed drive, detecting a disruption in AC power from the power source to the variable speed drive, and applying power from the power backup to the variable speed drive to operate the motor during the transient interruption in electrical power.

  • Publication number: 20210158143
Abstract: An approach for altering alter training data and training process associated with a neural network to emulate environmental noise and operational instrument error by using the concepts of shots to sample within a squeezed space model, wherein shots are an uncertainty index that is the average of all shots from a sampling, is disclosed. The approach leverages a squeeze theorem to create a squeezed space model based on the regression of the upper and lower bound associated with the environmental noise and instrument error. The approach calculates an average noise index based on the squeezed space model, wherein the index is used to alter the training data and process.
