  • Publication number: 20200355085
Abstract: A flow-straightener vane of a bypass turbomachine includes a plurality of vane sections stacked radially with respect to a longitudinal axis (X) along a stacking line (L) between a root end and a tip end. Each vane section has a pressure-face surface and a suction-face surface extending axially between an upstream leading edge and a downstream trailing edge. Between the leading and trailing edges of each vane section there is formed a profile chord (CA) the length of which is substantially constant between the tip end and the root end, and the stacking line (L) exhibits a curvature in a plane passing more or less through the axis (X) and through the stacking line (L), situated in the vicinity of the tip end and oriented from downstream towards upstream.

  • Patent number: 10781996
Abstract: A light shade can include a top surface formed by a plurality of adjacent, alternating peak and trough folds that define intervening facets, a bottom surface disposed opposite the top surface, and an edge surface transverse to and connecting the top surface and the bottom surface. The intervening facets can each be in the shape of a triangle with adjacent triangular facets sharing an edge. The shared edge can be one of a peak fold or a trough fold. One or more of the trough folds can have a plunge between the edge surface and an opposing side of the top surface. In an implementation, the light shade can be manufactured from a unitary polymeric sheet with the bottom surface being a mirror image of the top surface.

  • Patent number: 10464069
Abstract: An agitator ball mill includes a grinding chamber, a rotatably mounted agitator shaft, which protrudes into the grinding chamber and on which agitator elements, in the form of paddle wheels, are arranged spaced apart from one another axially, and an inlet for supplying material to be ground and grinding bodies and an outlet for removal of the ground material. The agitator elements are constructed in such a way that, during operation, they convey a mixture consisting of material to be ground or dispersed and grinding bodies through their interior outwards away from the agitator shaft. In the grinding chamber there are arranged return conveyor elements which are joined to the agitator shaft for conjoint rotation therewith and which convey the mixture laterally alongside and/or between the agitator elements inwards towards the agitator shaft.
