  • Publication number: 20050004727
Abstract: A vehicle communication network (200) includes a plurality of network elements (208-212) and a plurality of communication links (214-230) communicatively coupling the network elements in a point-to-point configuration. At least a portion of the plurality of communication links may be specified in accordance with a shared-access bus protocol. The plurality of communication links are arranged to communicate data packets between the network elements.

  • Publication number: 20040258001
Abstract: A method of configuring a network within a vehicle, wherein the network includes a plurality of network elements and a plurality of communication links communicatively coupling the plurality of network elements for point-to-point communication, includes storing a last known configuration state of the network. Then, the network is monitored to determine a change in the configuration state of the network to establish a current configuration state. The current configuration state is then point-to-point propagated through the network via the communication links, and is stored at each of the plurality of network elements.

  • Patent number: 6793526
Abstract: A stacked connector includes a base dock connecting to an electric circuit. The base dock has an insert member mounted thereon. The insert member includes at least two insert slots and is encased by a metal shell from outside. The rear side of the insert member is coupled with a transfer connection circuit. The base dock has connection terminals directly connecting to the electric circuit. The connection terminals in each insert slot are extended to the rear side of the insert member to connect to the transfer connection circuit. Thereby the length of the connection terminals may be reduced to lower the cost and enhance the structural sturdiness and reduce interference between the terminals.

  • Publication number: 20030026742
Abstract: A thermocouple protection tube is designed such that it is capable of adjusting the length of thermocouple inside reactor after assembly. The design includes an outer casing, an inner casing and a means for fixing the relative position of the outer casing and the inner casing. The inner casing is positioned relative to, and within the outer casing. The fixing means temporarily fixes the relative position of inner casing and outer casing. The disclosed design permits the adjustment of the thermocouple length inside thermocouple protection tube according to the relative thickness the refractory lining inside reactor.

  • Patent number: 6384110
Abstract: A distinctive graft copolymer is made by dissolving an oil-modified polyurethane resin in various vinyl monomers (methyl methacrylate, styrene, etc.). The monomer/oil-modified polyurethane solution is then miniemulsion polymerized to form a latex consisting of submicron particles of polymer with the oil-modified polyurethane grafted onto the polymer backbone. The latex can be applied to a substrate, which on drying forms a polymeric film with good film properties. The latex can be used in a latex paint formulation in place of an acrylate, acetate or styrene-divinyl benzene latex. In this way it is possible to produce water-borne oil-modified polyurethane coatings which combine the properties of an oil-based polyurethane coating with easy application and cleanup. The coating will beneficially lack organic solvent exposure of typical standard oil-modified polyurethane coatings.
