  • Patent number: 9438233
Abstract: A low-power digital logic architecture exhibits the same logic and voltage level behavior as standard digital logic. A logic switch and a pair of unidirectional switches are used to control the direction of charge flow in a switched-inductor capacitor (SLC) circuit, allowing the inductor to pull charge back-and-forth from one side of the load capacitor to the other to both switch the logical state at the top of the capacitor and to recycle and store the charge in the capacitor itself.

  • Patent number: 9385831
Abstract: Embodiments of a system and method for providing efficient wideband inverse channelization for direct digital synthesizer based jamming techniques are generally described herein. In some embodiments, metadata associated with a technique for generating a waveform, such as frequency, phase and amplitude parameters, is received. Data select signals and data input are generated based on the received metadata. In-phase and quadrature signals are produced at an output of a first de-multiplexer and a second de-multiplexer, respectively, based on the data select signals and the data input. Frequency modulated signals generated by direct digital synthesizers may be combined in a channel using a separate, distinct channel combiner.

  • Publication number: 20160147564
Abstract: A system and method for allocating resources receive one or more resource requests describing tasks, each of the one or more resource requests having a request priority, a requested configuration type, and a requestor identifier. In a winner-take-all circuit, all of the existing resource priorities within each configuration of the requested configuration type are compared to determine a highest-priority task occupying each assignment. In a loser-take-all circuit, one or more current highest resource priorities of each configuration within the requested configuration type, which are output from the winner-take-all circuit associated with the requested resource assignment, each of the one or more current resources having a current priority, are compared. One of the one or more current resource configurations within the requested configuration type having the lowest current priority is identified as the lowest-priority current resource configuration.

  • Patent number: 9274542
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems capable of generating weighted parameter sets, which can be randomly addressed for dictating a waveform of each pulse to be generated by using a probability distribution function loader to load a memory table with waveform parameter values, wherein the values are loaded according to a weighted probability distribution function. Each value is then randomly addressed in the memory table and/or randomly selected from the memory table by a random number generator and fed into a signal generation circuit for creation of the waveform to be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20160055035
Abstract: A method for scheduling a plurality of resources for processing a plurality of requests is provided. The method sorts the requests, each specifying a priority and one or more resources that process the request, in parallel based on the priorities. The method initializes an output set to an empty set and filters out any request that has a resource conflict with a current highest priority request, adds the current highest priority request to the output set and determines whether one or more requests of the plurality of requests, other than the requests added to the output set, are not filtered out. Responsive to determining that the one or more requests are not filtered out, repeating filtering, adding, and determining by using a highest priority request of the one or more requests as a current highest priority request. The method causes the assigned resources to process the output set of requests in parallel.

  • Patent number: 7282873
Abstract: A multi-fan apparatus and method incorporates mutual active cancellation of fan noise and/or vibrations. The multi-fan apparatus includes two or more fans circuits, each comprising a fan, a fan speed controller and a separate tachometer, and a fan phase controller. The phase controller is connected to at least one fan speed controller and to each tachometer. Each fan's speed is independently and dynamically maintained at the same set speed by the fan speed controllers using an independent control loops. A noise and/or vibration cancellation phase difference between fans is determined in order to achieve destructive interference of pressure waves and, thus, noise and/or vibration reduction, in pre-determined region of a system incorporating the multi-fan apparatus. The phase controller establishes and maintains this cancellation phase difference between the fans based upon feedback from the tachometers.
