  • Patent number: 4936737
Abstract: Front end loader mounting structure including a rear support assembly for receiving pivot tubes located at the lower ends of the rear upright mast posts. A round cross tube connecting the forward ends of the mast arms is rotatable upwardly through an arc-shaped path with center of radius of the path located on the axis of the pivot tubes. The cross tube is received within an inverted cradle assembly located directly in the path and is releasably locked in a raised mounted position within the cradle assembly by latching structure remotely actuated from the tractor cab. The mast posts include downwardly extending projections which are freely received by the support assembly when the loader is in the stored position but which rotate against a locking block to secure the posts tightly to the tractor frame as the mast arms approach the upwardly rotated position.

  • Patent number: 4904151
Abstract: There is disclosed a power loader lift arm cross tube stabilizing structure. A pair of loader lift arms are interconnected by a double torque tube stabilizing member which serves to distribute twisting forces encountered by one loader arm more evenly to that loader arm structure, as well as through the cross tube and to the other loader arm structure. The cross tube structure is comprised of two tubes, one positioned within the other, the outside tube being welded to each vertical side of each side of each lift arm member, while the inside tube is welded at its outer ends to the inner surface of the outer tube.

  • Patent number: 4780046
Abstract: Cable operated locking structure permitting an operator to lock and unlock the front of a loader without leaving the tractor seat. An eccentric cam and a cam operating wedge are secured on a front end assembly which also includes a mounting stand arrangement. A front mounting frame is connected to the tractor frame and includes a stop member which engages a guide member located on the assembly. The guide member and stop member secure the mast arm in the transverse and vertical directions, and the cam is movable into a cavity area on the front mounting frame to secure the mast arms in the downward and forward directions. Since the locking structure and parking stand are a single assembly, the loader can be offered either with or without the locking structure and parking stand features.

  • Patent number: 4704915
Abstract: A single-lever control lockout for a boom and bucket control lever. The lever is selectively movable in both fore-and-aft and side-to-side directions to control the lowering and raising of the boom and the roll back and dumping of the bucket. A cover encloses the control valve and the control lever extends through an opening in the cover. A lockout is slidably attached to the lever and is movable within the cover opening between a locked position where the lockout engages the cover, and a free position where the lockout is spaced from the cover thus allowing free movement of the lever in all directions.

  • Patent number: 4397221
Abstract: A regenerative valve includes a housing having a valve bore therein intersecting with an extension passage interconnecting a pump and a piston extension chamber, a retraction passage interconnecting a sump and a piston retraction chamber, and a regenerative passage for communicating fluid from the retraction to the extension chamber upon extension of the piston. A poppet member is movable in the bore to open and block fluid flow through the extension passage. A shuttle member is movable in the bore to either open or block one or the other of the regenerative and retraction passages. The shuttle member engages the poppet to cause the poppet to open the extension passage when the shuttle moves to close the retraction passage and open the regenerative passage.

  • Patent number: 4347031
Abstract: A parking stand of telescopic character that may be selectively lengthened and shortened between the ground and an elevated portion of a dismounted implement, such as a front end loader, and lockable in either condition, in the lengthened condition serving as a supporting strut for the implement and in the shortened and locked condition occupying a retracted or transport position. The shortened members are swingable toward the implement and locked thereto by the same means that locks the members in their shortened condition. The members are of channel shape and nest one within the other and are conditioned for relative lengthwise sliding by lugs means on the outer channel that extend partly across the inner channel and engage the flanges of the inner channel.

  • Patent number: 4337015
Abstract: A parking stand means for use as a strut between the ground and an elevated portion of a tractor-dismounted implement which has also an associated part resting on the ground so that the strut and a portion of the implement form a triangular support for the implement. The strut is carried by the implement for uphill and downhill sliding between retracted and supporting or park positions and is also connected in such manner that it can swing forwardly toward the implement for retracted position and rearwardly to its park position. A pin is provided for selectively locking the support in either position. A further feature is a device for preventing rearward swinging of the support until it has traveled downhill through a predetermined range.
