An actuator is provided that has an actuator part and a locking pawl configured to lock the auxiliary device received in the support member. The actuator enables insertion and removal as well as securing of the auxiliary electronic device. A spring element acts on the actuator. The spring element is a spring steel sheet that is rotatable about a flexion point or an axis.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the therapy of tumors through neutralisation of CD137 or inhibition of CD137 expression of CD137 antagonising molecules. Furthermore, the present invention provides the use of CD137 or agonistic anti-CD307 ligand antibodies for the treatment of conditions characterised by overactive immune reactions.

Abstract: The invention relates to antibodies which are directed against the FSAP Marburg I variant and to their preparation and use, in particular in therapy and diagnosis. The antibodies are characterized by the fact that they bind specifically to the FSAP MR I variant but not to the FSAP wild-type protein or other mutant variants which are characterized by amino acid substitutions at other positions in the FSAP protein.

Abstract: The invention provides the CD137 molecule or a functional analogue thereof, for use in stimulating hematopoiesis. The invention further provides a method of treatment of a disorder characterized by insufficient numbers of cells of the hematopoietic system, including but not limited to T cells, B cells, granulocytes, macrophages, mesenchymal cells, osteoclasts and multipotent adult progenitor cells, comprising the application of CD137 or a functional analogue thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bellows seal for pivot joints, wherein a first end of the bellows is tightly and rigidly connected to the joint housing. The second end of the bellow tightly and annularly surrounds a tappet and has a radial and sealing surface. Said surface is a front face divided into an inner concave ring surface and an outer concave ring surface. In relation to the axis of the bellow, the angle of inclination of the ring surfaces is approximately &agr;=70° for the external ring surface and approximately &bgr;=80° for the inner ring surface. The radial extension of the outer ring surface is approximately 12% in relation to the radius of the outer ring surface of the ring flange of the second end of the bellow.

Abstract: An agent for the detection of peroxidase or of pseudoperoxidase activity, and its preparation and its use are described. The agent contains a tetraalkylbenzidine, a peroxide and buffer substances. The agent according to the invention has, as a peroxidase substrate, the advantage over previous tetraalkylbenzidine-containing substrates that it generates higher color signals.

Abstract: An agent for the detection of peroxidase or of pseudoperoxidase activity, and its preparation and its use are described. The agent contains a tetraalkylbenzidine, a penicillin, or its breakdown products obtained by acid hydrolysis, as stabilizer,a peroxide and buffer substances. The agent according to the invention has, as a peroxidase substrate, the advantage over previous tetraalkylbenzidine-containing substrates that it is stable on storage as solution for use, and produces a lower background coloration.

Abstract: In the preparation of perchloro-2,5-diaza-1,5-hexadiene by chlorination of N,N-dimethylaminoacetonitrile, the improvement which comprises in a first stage (a) chlorinating N,N-dimethylaminoacetonitrile or its hydrochloride at about 70.degree. to 80.degree. C. in a solvent, removing the solvent by distillation under chlorinating conditions until a bottom temperature of about 120.degree. to 160.degree. is reached, and after-treating the residual reaction at this temperature with chlorine, and in a second stage (b) chlorinating the resulting reaction mixture at a temperature from about 150.degree. to 220.degree. C. Advantageously the solvent in stage (a) is phosphorus oxychloride, the weight ratio of nitrile to solvent is about 1:3, the after-chlorination in stage (a) is carried out at a temperature from about 120.degree. to 140.degree. C., and stage (b) is carried out at a temperature from about 180.degree. to 210.degree. C.

Abstract: N-chlorocarbonyl isocyanide dichloride is prepared by chlorinating methyl isocyanate and/or methyl carbamic acid chloride in solution in the presence of ultraviolet light at a temperature in the range of from 30.degree. to 120.degree.C. The temperature pattern during the reaction is controlled in relation to the concentration of methyl isocyanate in the reaction mixture such that low temperatures are maintained for high concentrations while high temperatures are maintained with low concentrations. Thus, when a temperature of from 30.degree.-40.degree.C is maintained during the reaction, the concentration of methyl isocyanate in the reaction mixture is substantially more than 50 percent; when the temperature is increased to 65.degree. to 75.degree.C, the concentration of methyl isocyanate is in the range of 50 percent to 10 percent; and when the temperature is increased above 75.degree.C, the concentration of methyl isocyanate is substantially below 10 percent.
