  • Publication number: 20240083801
Abstract: A bushing for producing glass fibers, including: a plurality of nozzles made of platinum or the like to discharge molten glass; and a base plate made of platinum or the like. A coating layer is preferentially formed on an outer circumferential face in a tip part on the side of glass discharge of the nozzle, and a width of the coating layer is 5% or more and 95% or less with respect to the entire length of the nozzle. The base plate includes a non-coating area. Areas of the nozzles and the base plate not provided with the coating layer act as a sacrificial metal for protecting the nozzle tip parts. In consideration of the sacrificial metal, a coverage rate P of the coating layer in the nozzle tip parts calculated e with a prescribed equation is preferably 5% or more and 350% or less.

  • Patent number: 10937152
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an inspection support method and an inspection support device capable of easily inspecting packaged medicines. In accordance with the inspection support method and the inspection support device according to an aspect of the present invention, since images of packaged medicines and identification information items and quantities of medicines extracted from a prescription are displayed on a display device (display unit), a user can easily check whether or not the packaged medicines match those written in the prescription. Since master images are registered in a case where the determination of “whether or not identification information items and quantities of the packaged medicines match the identification information items and quantities which are extracted from the prescription and are displayed” is positive for all the medicines written in the prescription, it is possible to reduce a concern that inappropriate images will be registered as the master images.

  • Patent number: 6429172
Abstract: Pseudo-boehmite, which is a raw material for a catalyst carrier for hydrogenation refining, is produced by mixing, under a predetermined condition, an aluminate aqueous solution produced from an alkaline etching step for aluminum in an alumite treatment and an acidic aluminum aqueous solution produced from an anodization step for aluminum in the alumite treatment. Pseudo-boehmite can be also produced by maturing, with an alkaline solution, an aluminum hydroxide sludge produced from a washing step for aluminum in the alumite treatment. It is possible to establish a method for producing pseudo-boehmite, which makes it possible to reutilize a resource at extremely low cost by utilizing a treatment waste liquid and a sludge in an alumite treatment site.

  • Patent number: 6075862
Abstract: A decryption key management scheme for a software distribution system utilizing the decryption key, which can enable the re-install of the software that was decrypted once by a proper procedure, without requiring a re-acquisition of the decryption key from the software vender, so that a user can freely delete and re-install the software that was properly obtained once. The decryption key is searched in a memory device of a user's computer, or acquired from a distribution source of the encrypted software when the decryption key is not found in the memory means. Then, the encrypted software is decrypted by using the obtained decryption key, and a decrypted software content is installed into the memory device, while the decryption key acquired from the distribution source is stored into the memory device, such that the decryption key stored in the memory device is utilizable in decrypting the encrypted software at a time of re-installing the encrypted software.

  • Patent number: 5870467
Abstract: A data input/output management scheme suitable for protection of electronic writing data. Whether the data entered into the program is a protected data or not is judged, and when it is, at least the identifier for identifying the program is recorded as the protected data input record. Then, a data output is permitted when the identifier for identifying the program is not recorded in the protected data input record, while whether or not to permit a data output is judged according to at least a requested output target when the identifier for identifying the program is recorded in the protected data input record. For the writing data, the application program is authenticated, and the authentication result is stored in correspondence to an identifier for identifying the application program. Then, a request for access to writing data from the application program is permitted when the stored authentication result for the application program indicates a successful authentication for the application program.

  • Patent number: 5826057
Abstract: A method for managing virtual address space in which programs designed for smaller virtual address spaces in the multiple virtual memory scheme can be collectively allocated to a single enlarged virtual address space in the single virtual memory scheme efficiently, without requiring any change in the programs themselves, such that the entire virtual address space becomes available in the compatible mode. In the method, the effective addresses to be used during an execution of a program designed for a smaller address space are calculated by combining an appropriate address base for this program specifying upper bits of the effective address and lower bits of the virtual addresses for a region of the enlarged address space to which this program is allocated. The address base may be replaced by the upper bits of the starting address of the program in the enlarged address space which are retained throughout the effective address calculation.

  • Patent number: 5537278
Abstract: A thin film magnetic head comprises a non-magnetic oxide substrate 11 and a soft magnetic thin film 12 of an Fe-Si-Al alloy or the like laminated on the substrate 11. A reaction prevention film 40 of magnesia or an oxide material containing magnesia is formed in the interface between the substrate and soft magnetic thin film. The film 40 has a function of preventing the reaction between the substrate 11 and the thin film 12 to preclude magnetic property deterioration of the soft magnetic thin film and also reproduced output reduction and further preclude increase of the residual stress in the interface between the substrate and soft magnetic thin film, thus permitting excellent magnetic properties to be obtained.

  • Patent number: 5153563
Abstract: A fire sensing system, a process for sensing a fire and an environment monitor are disclosed. The system includes infrared sensors with sensing wavelength bands sensing an infrared radiation from an infrared source. One of the sensing wavelength bands is a CO.sub.2 -molecular resonance radiation wavelength band. The system determines whether a disastrous fire occurs or not on the basis of outputs of the sensors and a change in a ratio of the outputs. The process computes the temperature of the infrared source from a ratio of outputs of infrared sensors with at least two sensing wavelength bands of an infrared radiation from a monitored area, produces the intensity of infrared radiation of either of the bands from the computed temperature and computes a heating area from the intensity and the output of a corresponding infrared sensor. The process determines the progress of a fire.

  • Patent number: 5134292
Abstract: Infrared rays radiated from a moving object is converged into a plurality of infrared ray detectors by optical system. Detecting area is instituted by the optical system so as to put the infrared rays into a plurality of the infrared ray detectors with time difference therebetween. Signal processing unit produces a detecting signal when there is a predetermined time difference between signals produced by a plurality of the infrared ray detectors. It is possible to avoid wrong operation which is caused by popcorn noise and a differential noise having a bit of time difference caused by temperature gradient in space. Forming a curved imaginary boundary line, a plurality of detecting zones are disposed at out side and inside of the curved imaginary boundary line to detect the object invading from any direction.

  • Patent number: 5053845
Abstract: A thin-film device having the structure of a bipolar transistor is provided. The device has three thin-films formed one on another to form emitter, base and collector regions, thereby providing a NPN or PNP structure depending on the impurities contained in these thin-films. The present bipolar thin-film device is particularly useful as a phototransistor, though use is not limited only for this. A non-transparent, insulating layer having an opening may be provided to limit the passage of light and to improve the transistor characteristics.
