  • Publication number: 20190092074
Abstract: When a page turner is to be accommodated, a holding table is folded, and an air blowing section is rotated and moved toward a side surface of an accommodation case where a page-turning mechanism can be accommodated, whereby the upper surface of the accommodation case and the air blowing port of the air blowing section are substantially flush with each other. Also, an expansion unit is removed from the holding table, and a casing is closed to cover a page-turning main body section constituted by the accommodation case and the air blowing section and the holding table. As a result, the entire page turner is accommodated in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape whose vertical and horizontal size is equal to a vertical and horizontal size of a predetermined book. Finally, the page turner is inserted between a pair of side plates constituting leg sections in an image pickup apparatus stand.

  • Publication number: 20190092078
Abstract: A casing is constituted by four constituent surfaces. When a page-turner is to be accommodated, a holding table for holding a book in an opened state and a page-turning main body section which turns pages of the book are accommodated in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped area formed by the four constituent surfaces. Here, in consideration of workability at the time of use, the page turner is accommodated such that the page-turning main body section is positioned on the upper side and two holding plates constituting the holding table are positioned on the lower side with the casing standing upright. The page-turning main body section is supported from below by one holding plate and the other holding plate positioned diagonally to the page-turning main body section without a special supporting means being provided.

  • Publication number: 20190077181
Abstract: A page-turner restricts the movement of a page to be turned by pressing a predetermined upper surface on the binding side of the page by an arm until, an end of the page starts to be caught at a page-turning end point by a catching section, in synchronization with a page-turning operation. The page turner rotates the arm so the arm enters a released state which is a substantially vertical state at timing at which the page separates from a sticking section and starts to be caught by the catching section. The page to be turned is pulled in by a page holding section while being inclined without the end of the page curling in a U shape.

  • Publication number: 20190077180
Abstract: Support auxiliary members are each constituted by an elongate member having a triangular prism shape and extending from one end to the other end of a holding plate. The support auxiliary member is arranged between a book holder and the final page of a book at a page-turning start point, and supports the vicinity of a binding portion of the book so as to lift it from below. The support auxiliary member is arranged between the holding plate and a spine portion of the book placed on the holding plate, and supports the spine portion. The support auxiliary members form a V-shaped structure only in the vicinity of the binding portion of the book because of their shapes and installation positions, whereby the spine portion of the book is held in a downwardly curved state.

  • Patent number: 10097723
Abstract: The book page turning operation of an automatic page turning apparatus is controlled by a tablet. Every time the automatic page turning apparatus completes a page turning operation, the tablet photographs the page and stores its image. During this processing, the tablet stops the series of page turning operations of the automatic page turning apparatus every time a sequential page-turning count m reaches a preset interruption page count M. Then, the tablet restarts the series of page turning operations in response to a photographing restart instruction from the user. As a result of this configuration, the user is freed from an operation of stopping a page turning operation during image photographing.
