  • Patent number: 7290647
Abstract: A guide apparatus has a standard end plate split into a pair of split parts that can be positioned with respect to each other with high accuracy and firmly secured to each axial end of a moving block body without fear of displacement during use. The guide apparatus has a moving block relatively movably attached to a track rail. The moving block body has in a section perpendicular to the axial direction a geometry that allows the moving block body to be assembled to the track rail at an intermediate part of the track rail. The end plate consists essentially of a pair of split parts that are splittable to right and left in the width direction of the end plate. One split part has a positioning pin projecting from a parting surface thereof. A positioning hole fittable with the positioning pin is provided in a parting surface of the other split part. The positioning pin is fitted into the positioning hole to form an end plate assembly.

  • Publication number: 20060118097
Abstract: There is provided a diamond wheel rolling on the surface of a brittle material without sliding thereon and hardly forming horizontal cracks. A diamond wheel 8 forms a scribe line on the surface of the brittle material while rolling thereon. In this diamond wheel, diamond grains 15, 15,—of 1000 to 8000 mesh are carried by a bonding agent. The diamond grains projecting from the bonding agent 16 easily bite the brittle material, so that the diamond wheel can roll on the brittle material without sliding even in no application of load more than necessary.

  • Patent number: 6804889
Abstract: A holder 20 is rotatably connected to a body 10. A scribe tool 30 is attached to one end of the holder 20. A plate spring 16 is fixed to the body 10, and a receiving plate 26 is fixed to the holder 20. A piezo-actuator 40 is interposed between the plate spring 16 and the receiving plate 26. One end of a plate spring 50 having a small spring constant is fixed to the holder 20. The body 10 is provided with an adjustment screw 60. When a lower end part 65 of the adjustment screw 60 is protruded, the lower end part 65 presses the plate spring 50 for flexure, thereby generating a resilient force to the plate spring 50. By this, a rotational force is given to the holder 20 and thus a pressing load directing toward a workpiece is given to the scribe tool 30.
