  • Publication number: 20230312044
Abstract: A driver assistance system 1 for a motorcycle is provided with: a driving force output device 82 that generates a backup output for reversing a drive wheel and backing up a vehicle body; a brake lever 810 squeezably operable by a rider; a ACC main switch 43 and an ACC lever 44 operable by the rider; and a back out assistance controller 64 that controls the driving force output device 82 on the basis of the operation of the lever 810, the switch 43, and the lever 44. The back out assistance controller 64, after causing the driving force output device 82 to generate the backup output when triggered by receiving an operation of turning the lever 44 to a “SET/?” side, continues to cause the backup output to be generated until the lever 810 is operated, or until the switch 43 or lever 44 is turned off.

  • Publication number: 20230299400
Abstract: A bipolar battery includes a plurality of cell members and a plurality of frame units configured to form a plurality of cells individually housing the plurality of cell members. Each of the plurality of frame units has joining surfaces facing each other in the stacking direction of the cell members, which are joined to each other by a joining material. On outer side surfaces of the frame units adjacent to each other in the stacking direction, a groove is formed which communicates between the joining surfaces to be joined and opens to the outer side surfaces. A water sealing material is disposed in the groove. This arrangement provides a bipolar battery capable of reliably preventing an electrolyte from leaking out of a cell by a simple seal configuration.

  • Publication number: 20230299266
Abstract: A bipolar lead storage battery includes a plurality of cell members laminated on one another, inner frames that each include a bipolar plate provided between the cell members, and a frame member (a rim) provided in an outer peripheral portion of the bipolar plate to rise in a thickness direction of the bipolar plate. The bipolar lead storage battery also includes a pair of outer frames respectively placed at opposite end portions in a lamination direction. The inner frames or the outer frames are made of fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin. The arrangement restrains deformation of an inner frame or an outer frame due to the pressure inside a cell and allows a reduced thickness of the inner frame or the outer frame.

  • Publication number: 20230238654
Abstract: A bipolar lead-acid battery is described in which the electrolyte is less likely to infiltrate the interface between a positive electrode lead layer and an adhesive layer so that deterioration in battery performance is less likely to occur. A positive electrode of a bipolar electrode of the battery includes a positive electrode lead layer disposed on one surface of a substrate. An adhesive layer is disposed between and bonds the one surface and the positive electrode lead layer. The substrate is formed of a thermoplastic resin, and the adhesive layer is a cured product of a reaction-curing type adhesive that is cured by reaction between a main agent containing an epoxy resin and a curing agent containing an amine compound. Even when immersed in sulfuric acid with a concentration of 38% by mass at a temperature of 60° C. for four weeks, the sulfuric acid does not infiltrate the interface.
