  • Patent number: 6267723
Abstract: A sensor device a sensor unit which detects a biomedical signal, and a transmitter which converts the biomedical signal into a radio signal and then transmits the radio signal. The transmitter has an electrode detachment detection unit 12 which detects electrode detachment on the basis of an output of the sensor unit, and transmits an electrode detachment signal indicative of the detachment. In a receiver, the biomedical signal transmitted from the transmitter is received, the signal is attenuated by an attenuation unit, and the attenuated signal is supplied to a wired sensor input portion of another device through a switch and a connection unit. In the receiver, when the electrode detachment signal is detected from the signal transmitted from the transmitter, the switch is turned off.

  • Patent number: 6161036
Abstract: An electrode 4 for detecting a biological signal and a loop antenna 3 are integrally mounted on a support 2 placed on the surface of a living body and a transmitter 5 is placed on the support 2. A biological signal detected on the electrode 4 is input through a connector 11 to electric circuitry 10 of the transmitter 5 and an electric signal processed by the electric circuitry 10 is output through connectors 12 and 13 to both ends of the loop antenna 3 from which the biological signal is emitted to a receiver. At this time, the opening face of the loop antenna 3 is in a direction almost perpendicular to the surface of a living body for improving sensitivity.

  • Patent number: 5995011
Abstract: A comparison circuit (4) is formed by a Schmidt buffer (4a) which has first and second threshold values and a buffer (4b) whose threshold value is larger than the first threshold value but smaller than the second threshold value. An integrating circuit (3) and the comparison circuit (4) function as a timer circuit which operates in accordance with comparison of the three values. An input signal (IN) decreases from a reference voltage signal (V6). A control signal becomes an H level after a time which is determined by a time constant of the integrating circuit (3) and the threshold value of the buffer (4b), and a detect signal (FO) is outputted after a time which corresponds to a difference between the second threshold value and the threshold value (which is equal to or shorter than a response time of the circuit (4)). During monitoring of a d.c.

  • Patent number: 5404895
Abstract: A dishwasher includes a casing having right-hand and left-hand side walls and two concave portions formed in the lower portions of the side walls, respectively. The concave portions have pipe passing openings formed in walls defining the concave portions, respectively. Each pipe passing opening is contiguous to the interior of the casing. A main feed pipe is disposed in the casing and has two ends. A water supply connecting pipe has a part located in either one of the concave portions and caused to pass through the pipe passing opening in the condition that the part has been located in either concave portion so that one of its two ends is guided into the casing and connected to the end of the main feed pipe located in the casing.

  • Patent number: 5394287
Abstract: A TSD (8) is provided in the vicinity of an IGBT (1), and reference voltages (VR1 to VR5) are provided to the negative inputs of comparators (51 to 55) as a function of a temperature detection signal (S8). A sense terminal (3) of the IGBT is connected to the positive inputs of the comparators (51 to 55) in common. An output signal (S51) of the comparator (51) and output signals (S72 to S75) of signal judging circuits (72 to 75) having received the output signals (S52 to S55) are applied to the input of an NOR gate (6) for on/off control of the IGBT. The signal judging circuits (72 to 75) normally output an L-level judgment signal (S7) and output an H-level judgment signal (S7) when the input signal is at the H level for periods of time that are not shorter than allowable durations (.DELTA.t2 to .DELTA.t5 ), respectively. This provides an overcurrent protective device for a power device which performs overcurrent protective operation adapted for a practical safe operating area of the power device.

  • Patent number: 5355900
Abstract: A dishwasher includes a chamber containing the dishes, a heater for heating the air in the chamber, a water inlet provided on the upper side of the chamber, a drain pump for draining the water from the chamber, an air circulation passage through which the air in the chamber is circulated, a fan for circulating the air in the chamber through the air circulation passage, a dehumidifying surface capable of holding water provided in the air circulation passage, and a microcomputer for controlling the drain pump, the fan and the volume of the water supplied from the water inlet. In a drying cycle, the air heated by the heater is circulated through the air circulation passage. Since the air contacts with the water spread over the dehumidifying surface, and is cooled down, the water is condensed from the air. Therefore, when the air is heated again, the evaporation of the drops of water on the dishes increases.
