    Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB) is attached on a surface of a tray that is opposed to a chassis main or a bottom plate of a housing. On the tray and in a vicinity of a position where the PCB is disposed, a first protruding portion is formed to protrude toward the chassis main, on which a second protruding portion is formed at a position to be opposed to the first protruding portion. Between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion is a clearance while the tray is accommodated in the housing. When the tray deforms, the second protruding portion supports the first protruding portion to prevent further deformation of the tray.

    Abstract: In an optical disc device, the device effectively reduces noise generated during the time of optical disc revolution and at the same time prevents a tray and an optical disc placed on the tray from coming into contact with each other or a circuit board mounted on the tray from undergoing electrostatic destruction. A circuit board for controlling a spindle motor and a pickup is mounted on a tray for placing an optical disc on the reverse side of the rear area. There are formed through-holes crookedly piercing through the tray in the thickness direction in the rear area of the tray. The through-holes are so constructed that their openings on tray's reverse side are invisible from their openings on tray's face side.

An under cover 19 is provided with a collision evasion hole 21 at a position corresponding to an end of an optical head housing 25. Moreover, a bottom cover 4 is provided with an impact force buffering member 22 at a position corresponding to the collision evasion hole. When an impact force acts on an optical disc drive 1, the impact force to the optical head housing 25 is buffered by the structure. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the optical head 8 from being damaged, and it is possible to improve the reliability of the optical disc drive 1.

After the adapter plate member is removed from the bottom plate, turned upside down, and fixed onto the wall.

    Abstract: In the vehicle antenna, a GPS antenna, a radio wave beacon antenna for VICS/automatic rate, and an optical beacon antenna are incorporated into between the mirror of a room mirror and a cover and they are united together into an integrated body. The vehicle antenna is structured such that it is allowed to transmit and receive signals with respect to a GPS, a VICS/automatic rate beacon, and an optical beacon through the windshield of a vehicle. This structure eliminates the need to install the respective antennas of the vehicle antenna onto a vehicle body and an instrumental panel, thereby being able to improve the appearance of the interior of the vehicle. Also, since the vehicle antenna is incorporated in the room mirror, the vehicle antenna is not visible directly to the eyes of a driver and is kept from reflecting its shade into the windshield to thereby prevent interference with the driving operation of the driver.

    Abstract: A power supply unit is provided between a car-carried battery and load units, such as a light control unit. The power supply unit is connected to the load units through a multi-signal line. The power supply unit calculates a consumption current consumed by the load unit using an operating state of the load unit which is received through the multi-signal line from the load control unit associated with the load unit. The power supply unit compares the calculated consumption current with a supplying current supplied form the battery. If the supplying current is excessively large, the power supply unit interrupts the supply of current from the battery to the load unit. Therefore, the power supply device can detect a phenomenon, for example, a rare short of an extremely short shorting time.

A switch for turning on/off the glove box lamp is further attached to the substrate so as to be connected to the current conduction path. Respective lead wires of wire harness W/H are connected directly to the current conduction path of the substrate without interposition of any connector.
