    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a printer includes a housing that has an outlet, a drawer unit, first, second and third print medium support units and a printing unit. The drawer unit is placed inside of the housing so that it can be drawn out from the housing. The first and the second print medium supporting unit are fixed to the drawer unit. The third print medium supporting unit is fixed to the housing so as to be located between the lower end of the first print medium supporting unit and the lower end of the second print medium supporting unit when the drawer unit is in the closed position. The printing unit prints on a belt-shaped print media, which is drawn out from a roll of printable media that is rotatably supported by at least the first print medium supporting unit.

    Abstract: A device for erasing an image on a sheet according to an embodiment includes a reading unit that reads an image formed on the sheet. An erasing unit erases the image formed on the sheet by heating the sheet. A conveyance path for the sheet between the reading unit and the erasing unit is formed guide plates arranged in an opposed manner. A cooling unit cools the sheet which passes through the conveyance path and includes at least one fan that supplies cooling air generally along a sheet conveying direction. A plurality of slits is formed in each of the guide plates such that cooling air from the at least one fan flows through the slits into the conveyance path.

The sheet conveying unit conveys the sheet and causes the sheet to pass through the decoloring processing unit. The sheet reading unit is arranged further on an upstream side than the decoloring processing unit. The user ID reading unit reads ID information of a user. The storing unit stores predetermined information. The control unit controls the storage unit to correlate the user ID and the read information by the sheet reading unit.
