  • Patent number: 11956343
Abstract: A method for reception of a signal by a subscriber of a real-time network. The signal includes a signal clock having a signal clock frequency and the subscriber includes a counter, which has a counter clock with a counter clock frequency and which maps a local time of the subscriber. The method includes sampling the signal with a reception clock of a reception counter of the subscriber, the reception clock being derived from the counter clock, whereby the reception counter maps the local time of the subscriber, adapting a phase position of the reception clock to a phase position of the signal clock when said reception clock is derived from the counter clock, and sampling the signal at a reception clock frequency of the reception counter.

  • Patent number: 11946961
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method for tracking energy consumption. An energy tracking system comprises at least one switching element, at least one inductor and a control block to keep the output voltage at a pre-selected level. The switching elements are configured to apply the source of energy to the inductors. The control block compares the output voltage of the energy tracking system to a reference value and controls the switching of the switched elements in order to transfer energy for the primary voltage into a secondary voltage at the output of the energy tracking system. The electronic device further comprises an ON-time and OFF-time generator and an accumulator wherein the control block is coupled to receive a signal from the ON-time and OFF-time generator and generates switching signals for the at least one switching element in the form of ON-time pulses with a constant width ON-time.

  • Publication number: 20230421505
Abstract: In order to implement a method for data flow control in a network with reduced overhead, a first subscriber transmits data symbols in data frames to a second subscriber. The second subscriber forwards and/or processes the data frame. If there is a delay in forwarding and/or processing the data frame, the second subscriber instructs the first subscriber to pause the transmission of the data frames with a granularity of one data symbol. After the pause, the first subscriber continues to transmit the data frames with a granularity of one data symbol.

  • Patent number: 8176679
Abstract: A gear mechanism part for a cable-controlled window lifter is provided that includes a gear wheel and a cable drum that can be driven by the gear wheel. The gear wheel and cable drum are disposed on a common axis. The gear wheel and the cable drum are coupled by a positive fit to an outside gearing disposed on an outside circumference projection. In the cable drum, a fitting chamber for cable end fastening is provided. The fitting chamber is disposed inside the outer circumference projection on a cross-sectional plane projected perpendicular to the axis. In this way, a more compact design of the cable drum and transmission of higher driving torque are achieved.

  • Patent number: 6974420
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing noise and detecting electrode faults in a physiological activity acquisition system. The method includes the act of delivering a carrier signal through an electrode connected to a subject. Once the carrier signal is delivered, a combined signal having an electrical-activity portion and a carrier-signal portion is sensed by at least one signal sensing electrode attached to the subject. A low-pass, finite impulse response filter, having a first zero point frequency substantially the same as the carrier signal, separates the carrier signal portion from the electrical activity portion. An impedance value for the sensing electrode is calculated using the carrier signal portion. The calculated impedance value is compared against a known value to determine whether an electrode fault exists.

  • Publication number: 20050160776
Abstract: A lock module for fitting in a motor vehicle door. The lock module compensates for structural tolerances and makes it possible to span large assembly gaps. This is achieved through a lock module for a motor vehicle door having a lock and a bearing bracket connected to the lock for supporting a door outside handle of the vehicle door. The lock and the bearing bracket are connected together through an adapter, the adapter and the bearing bracket are connected by a first sliding connection relatively displaceable along a first sliding direction and the lock and the adapter are connected by a second sliding connection displaceable along a second sliding direction, and the two sliding directions are arranged at an angle to each other.

  • Patent number: 6874279
Abstract: A window lifter includes a rope or a Bowden cable and is used in motor vehicles. The window lifter also includes guide rails that are integrated into the base surface of a carrier plate of a motor vehicle door. The window lifter also includes carriers that can be displaced along the guide rails and receive a window pane as well as reversing devices that are arranged at the ends of the guide rails. The rope engages with the carriers and a drive device and is guided via the reversing devices. The guide rails protrude from the base surface of the carrier plate, have a slot that extends in the longitudinal direction and are covered on the open base side of the carrier plate in a dampproof manner. The carriers can be at least partially situated on the external and internal side of the guide rails and pass through the respective slot to engage with the rails.
